La Boca Bar and Grill Adelaide reviews
75Absolutely fabulous food truly fabulous great drinks. Great atmosphere, go there in a heartbeat.
Expect to spend over $50 per person, however, the food and drink along with the quality service justified the price. A good amount of options without being too much. Would come again.
Amazing grilled food with good service. The grilled beef and the prawns are a particular highlight in the surf and turf platter. The sweet potato fries are some of the best I’ve tasted.
Unfortunately did not enjoy the experience at all. 7pm booking and we finally received the 2nd course at 9pm. Food was not worth the money or the wait.
One of my favourite restaurant in Adelaide! Service is impeccable and the food is scrumptious! Highly recommended!
Great place and after a small issue with one of the orders, the food matched the smell. Will be back again next week hopefully!
Beautiful food in every conceivable way, but boy you will pay for it. I was here for their Easter buffet lunch. The flame roasted meats were spectacular - the beef melted in my mouth - and the salads and sides were beautiful too. The restaurant itself is also comfortable and charming. However, I blanched at the $70 per head price, excluding drinks, and the front of house staff seemed a little unavailable. The a la carte menu is exasperating, too - the cheapest main is $32, and there's really limited choices overall. Only come here if you are a sophisticated carnivore looking to impress a date, and maybe skip the taxi to walk home to save on costs.
Wow. It’s been a long time I’ve had a steak that good. Well more like hunk of meat but it was delicious, well seasoned, juicy and cooked perfectly. Friendly attentive staffed. Large place so no trouble fitting me in and open Easter Monday. I’ve I was a local I’d become a regular.
Got the butcher's selection. Over priced for what you get, cheap cuts and very disappointing. Not returning.
Nice service, food was absolutely delicious! Everything was perfect. I didn't like the high tables personally, it made it a lot less cosy for the kind of meal we were looking for, however it was still really nice as the service was fantastic, our waiter was very good and accommodating to all our requests, and was always checking on us (not in an annoying way). Would definitely come back when I'm in Adelaide next.
Booked for all you can eat as advertised on the website. Manager argued that no longer available yet was advertised on their website at time of booking! Disgusting service!
Very nice place, the food is so tasty and excellent costumer service, mmm however were slow to take our order. But the food arrive quickly!
3 weeks ago had an amazing all you can eat experience here. Unfortunately they don't do it anymore. Things change and that, t wouldn't usually merit a poor review but they also still advertise it directly outside the restaurant on a huge banner. It would take all of 3 minutes to add a no longer available sign to this, it's not up high or anything, but maybe they want to entice in customers expecting what is currently falsely advertised.
Absolute joke
Fatty, revolting, overpriced…. $99 for two.what?
The meat has no wood/coal flavour at all, fat was not rendered, … complained to waiter -sorry sir, then took half eaten platter away…? …really? Not good enough guys
Embarrassing to have gone to this establishment… really hope tourists do not go … sad
All you can eat but by the time you wait for your food to be delivered not really all you can eat! Drinks slow too
Unfortunately this place was well below standard for a bar and grill sadly.
It wasn’t outlined online when booking that the all you can eat menu is the only option during the week with no vegetarian options which made it impossible for my partner to eat. The Asian lady continued to be rude to us as if we knew what we were coming to and not accommodating. The wagyu steak was luke warm and unfortunately very chewy but the lady serving being rude didn’t want to say anything to cause more issues. Not the best experience we’ve had dinning and there are a lot better places to dine for half the price.
Let's hope that the hotel general manager is taking all these comments on board and hopefully the Chairman too.
Food for lunch today was tasty and cooked perfectly. Thanks to the teachings of chef Nicholas. However there were dirty tables, dirty plates left on the tables and the restaurant was quiet. The chef In white and two servers were chatting for ages. Lack of customer service and attention to detail. They are letting the side down.
Also if it wasn't for the food and name I'd be mistaken for being in an Indian restaurant
A little expensive and not enough food on the plate. If you are a big eaters like I do, order more dishes.
Seriously under staffed. $50 for a 90 min all you can eat with a long wait between courses and poor table service (we cleared the table and put the plates etc on a vacant table next to us). The food served was OK but drinks were top dollar. The place was practically empty when we had dinner but the squeezed us on to two tables 16 people where they would normally sit 12 with plenty of vacant tables near by. Eat here in small groups but don't bother if in large groups. Never again.
Great food, great atmosphere, but I have to only give 4 stars due to some staff unprofessionalism and rudeness.
