Kwan Yen Chinese Restaurant

We get Chinese from here on an average of once a month, I would say a 9 out of 10, I've had 1 poor order and it was due to menu log delivery being slow and it not being hot.

We always enjoy the meals, the taste is always consistent and the family love this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Kwan Yen. There were more there was 22 in our group and the meals were great. The staff were wonderful. They were patient, understanding and professional.
Great for small or large groups. We had an area to ourselves. Don't hesitate if you like Chinese cuisine. Five stars all the way. Thanks guys!

Let’s start with how good the food was, very tasty and plentiful but the restaurant was let down by the staff.
Very abrupt, no smiles, food just plonked down wherever, very poor. Went for my daughter’s birthday and felt so bad for her because the staff were terrible
Spent $200 and couldn’t even raise a smile! Won’t be back unfortunately only because of the poor service,

The owner is a beautiful soul, always interacting with customers and asking how they are going and how there food is.

The food is amazing I love the salt and pepper pork, all dishes are amazing.

My new favourite, great service, great prices, very yummy. Working long hours getting home late, their food soothes my soul and is so much healthier than a lot of other options. Actually used to be a cook at work so very fussy, quite Scroogey on buying take away.
So yes, highly recommend.

Quan Yen moved from near me and went further away unfortunately now i only get to eat their food occasionally. It's always wholesome tasty and just plain delicious

We ordered steamed rice, beef black bean, cashew chicken and chilli prawns …. All delicious! Kids happy too. We were too hungry to take photos (lol) next time! Especially love the natural flavours, not too heavy or oily. Only improvement I suggest is please consider offering regular and large size serves. For a family with adults and children, the serves are on the smaller side. Good if you want to watch your weight?

Daughter ordered me a take away curried vegetables also fried rice really yummy lasted 2 meals also very quick delivery

Due to the Rickshaw Inn being fully booked tonight we gave the Kwan Yen a try.

Now we have two goto Chinese restaurant now both equal and good value. The strengths of one are the weaknesses of the other and visa versa.

Delivery is always super quick and food is always hot. Been ordering from here for a few years now and so far I have not been disappointed. Love the fried rice and fillet steak dish.

I suggest that you don't use Kwan yen as your restaurant name because the name is similar to a Buddhist bodhisattva name and its not a fully vegetarian restaurant. Its kind of disrespectful to have a buddha or bodhisattva's name as a restaurant name.

Good food and serving size. Dine in experience was very pleasant with polite and professional staff.

The food was average and we didn't receive our drinks to almost half way through the meal. The service was slow but it shouldn't have been because there were no more than 6 people in the whole restaurant

Ordered the Beef satay for the very last time! It used to be very good but the last 5-6 times that I have had it the beef has been very tough and chewy as if it had been pre cooked and reheated! Plus the Satay sauce was runny and tasted watered down.

Excellent food served by friendly staff. We regularly travel across Adelaide to enjoy the wonderful Chinese food here. Recommended.
