Koko Black - Adelaide reviews
40I really love the Belgian hot chocolate. It's a good place to casually hang around just by yourself or friends. There are other so many other tasty things to try out. Do recommend this place.
The vegan options are excellent. The gin and chocolate packs are perfect for Christmas. Excellent service too.
Great chocolates. We usually have coffee in here when in Rundle Mall but not anymore from today experience.
One staff kept talking about customer behind the counter with other staff. Rude as……
Used to be my fav place, not any more.
Absolutely love this place. The almond praline is amazing and goes so well with a cup of iced long black. Staff are all so welcoming and the atmosphere is just perfect, even for a long study session.
Great chocolate, light food, coffee and deserts. Great location in front of the mall, which is the richest you will find downtown, and great layout with a nice second floor. Staff was also very knowledgeable and classy. Probably one of few places in the city that makes you feel so comfortable.
Excellent service, very courteous, eager to help. And best of all, superb host chocolate to die for!
This is my favorite choco store. I have been knowing this store for many years now and I always recommend them to everyone. They maintain a standard and have the best chocolate collection. I even liked the chocolates made by them. They have proper knowledge about this business. I strongly recommend them to everyone who is looking for best choco store in the town.
Great place with great pastries and coffee. Wonderful place to sit back and relax from a long flight.
Nice place, good atmosphere in the center of the city. Upstairs is very cozy. Good selection of drinks/choc.
A nice place with good coffee and chocolates.friendly staff and cosy atmosphere.
Certainly Recommended.
Delightful and prompt service from all employees we spoke to, also best iced drink I’ve had in a very long time, it took me by surprise.
Absolutely the best Spot to spend some time with perfect Coffee. Exceptional customer service. I'm a coffee lover, and I've found here the ideal quality coffee.
Good chocolate dessert place, limited tables (at the time we visited the upstairs extra seating was closed) so you need to get lucky or wait for a table to open up. While waiting you can try and buy some chocolate at the counter, but it would be better if they had a number or ticket system for who was next waiting on a table as a couple in front of us jumped the queue!
The chocolate here is very good if a bit pricey. The make your own gift box makes for an excellent gift!
Dear god you guys make the best hot chocolate and mocca. A little disappointed at the jnr hot chocolate, was mostly milk and very little chocolate flavour.
The coffee/drinks, including desserts, can be hit/miss. Many times there have been items from the menu "unavailable" or "out of stock" for the day. The chocolates however are nice. Customer service from some staff is generally poor and lacking basic common sense.
Product looks tempting but no samples available. Anyway we bought 25 pieces in a box and 3 bunny rabbit chocolate.
I am a chocolate person. Hot Chocolate is my everyday's life. Koko Black Hot Chocs is really my cup of tea. This is the extraordinary hot chocs in the heart of Adelaide. I never refuse whenever someone asking me to go here.
Went for take away hot chocolate and tasted their milk chocolate covered almonds. Maybe it’s the diet I’m on but hallelujah! I ended up buying three packets of their chocolate. As far as the hot chocolates go, the hubby didn’t think the hazelnut hot chocolate was hazelnut enough and didn’t think he could taste it. I could taste it fine like eating Nutella. My chilli hot chocolate had a perfect burn. My son had straight hot chocolate. He decided it was too much chocolate (if there is a thing). We chose medium take away and small would have been better as by the end of mine I was wishing for milk to dilute it. Overall definitely recommend trying, their dessert looked like heaven.
