KIMBA ROADHOUSE & MOTEL

Great roadhouse for travellers to fill up both the belly and the tank during a trip. Truckies heading west have ample parking in the rest area opposite the roadhouse. Truckies heading east will find it a little more difficult to park if pulling a Road Train.

Good selection of Ready to go Curries, or take advantage of the full kitchen and Licenses diner.

We were thankful they were open on Boxing Day and had some veg options and mostly clean toilets. Had all the things weary travelers needed. Very friendly service under busy conditions. The building is very tired and needs a little TLC.

Was a good stopover. Had all the facilities and amenities you need and the food was surprisingly nice, at affordable prices.

It was our camping stop on our way to Smoky Bay. Seems to be a good fishing spot, however, would recommend using fishing floats as water is quite still and the ground is quite rocky.

The Amenities we're not good, only 2 toilets with only 1 working. Having paid $27 which was a discount, still you would expect more for your dollar!

24 hour servo with cooked food, bar and accommodation. I have not stayed in accommodation but the breakfast and coffee was good and the lady behind counter was friendly and efficient despite being very busy.

Once again these people have fed us with magnificent Indian food and caring service.
For my Ceoliac friends, there is plenty to choose from, and I have not ever had a problem here. Yes the place is old and a bit warn, but it is spotlessly clean and is slowly being upgraded by these hard working young people. A meal stop is a must when we travel this way. Thank you for providing your service half way across Australia.

Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. We ran out of hot water from our thermos and the lady kindly gave us 3 cups of boiling water for free.

Premises are very clean to takeaway food is well prepared and a good range of choice definitely worth the stop petrol is of average price

The best customer service! Only outshone by the food. OMG the best butter chicken EVER! Thank you to the lovely smiling lady at the counter - your courtesy is contagious! This will be a must stop, every time we pass through Kimba!

A very welcome shelter on a very cold and wet night. Fairly basic but was warm, clean, good bed, ensuite, plus there was a restaurant that included great curries on their menu.

Good budget Motel. Poured like crazy when we were there but my children slept well. Beds were comfy. Nice water pressure for a shower after 5 and a half hours of driving

My wife & I stayed here overnight & found the caravan park itself was reasonably spacious but definitely not worth the $30 a night fee. The first power box I plugged my caravan into had broken connection points, the night lights on quite a few of these boxes didn’t come on once dark, the toilets/showers are old with both Mens & Ladies air hand dryers not working but on a positive they were clean & had lovely hot water.

Normal servo though not the friendliest.weren't rude just feels like more interested in just pay and move on

Great stop to let the hair down after n early morning start. Fuel got us out of trouble for sure!

The best curries, eat in or take away! Rooms are old but clean. Very nice, helpful staff. A great stop half way across Australia.

Caravan park area was clean, power points and water for each caravan. Toilets and showers where clean, access by entering a code. Great curry.
