KFC Gawler

Mediocre and uninspiring.

It was hard to order because there is no menu board until you get to the first service window, but then it was difficult to see that due to the reflection from the glass. It was a little better at the second window because the menu board was a lot closer. It may be easier to read at different times of the day, but as it was, I felt rushed as I was holding up the queue taking so long trying to see what to order.
Management need to take this into consideration so customers can have an idea of what they want before they get to the service window, not just a daggy, dilapidated banner of some offer that finished hours earlier.

Unlike I've read on other reviews, the chicken was cooked (unlike Drakes Gawler who sell under-cooked, almost raw chicken), in fact it was cooked so much, some of it was like eating chicken jerky.

No serviettes, wet or dry, no spoon to eat the mashed potato and gravy, customers shouldn't have to ask for these, it should be either standard with every order or the customer should at least be asked if they'd like one. The single use ban on plastic cutlery doesn't start until 1 March 2021, so not reason not to provide a spoon for the potato mash and gravy.

KFC Gawler located on Adelaide Road, Gawler 5118 and is your typical fast food restaurant that provided dine in, drive thru facilities and also click and collect via KFC app after 17: 00.

I am a regular with any fast food joint but today I was served by a pleasant young man name Ashley's, I was greeted warmly and my order was concluded so fast that I didn't managed to fiddle with my smartphone.

I am very pleased with Ashley soft and hard skills, and he's an asset to KFC establishment and the Management; and deserve a huge bonus!

To Ashley a huge Kudus! And job well done!

Picked up 5 popcorn chicken go buckets, so disappointed to find all of them only half full; they all contained between 12 and 15 chips and a similarly small amount of popcorn chicken. Most of the stores we have purchased these from have over delivered, unfortunately, Gawler has constantly fallen short.

Not a bad KFC. Driveway and drive thru is a bit of a nightmare. Generally speaking, good speed with orders with the occastional mistake.

We usually don't get KFC, but the staff were amazing, friendly service, we made mistake with an order and the staff gave us extra food with no extra charge:)

You would think for a company that makes so much money they would fix there drive thro just love ripping my bummper off my car

We waited for our food more than 10 minutes even though we were the only ones there. Chicken was over cooked, dry and inedible and chips were only half cooked and soggy.

Disappointed you got rid of Hot Rods! Finally found something on your menu that was my favourite! Your chicken from the zinger burger gave me food poisoning as well! Not happy.

I ordered the 3 piece feed It was okay but not a nice as it used to be plus the salt is always inconsistent on the chips

Had food form there 4days ago and I am still sick after talking to other people that have just resently go food there too and are all sick would not get anything from there again

Id have to give a bad review rhis one time. I asked for cheese in a zinger burger in a box deal. Paid extra for cheese. But got no cheese.

I take my KFC very seriously, and this store has never let me down. My car however has suffered a series of gashes from the chasm that was once a driveway.
Other KFCs seem to go through phased of poorly cooked and shrivelled looking fillets, but this one has always done it just right. They do bloody good chips too.

New seating is uncomfortable tables too high. Chips luke warm and no salt. Drinks nice and cold. Air conditioner too cold not pleasant

Best store in SA. Clean store, fantastic customer service. Always order on the app and get really good deals not advertised on the regular menu.got burger, chips, potato and gravy plus a pepsi for $7. Awesome!

Service was good even when extremely busy my issue is too much salt on chips.they were inedible.and not a one off

We ate in. The venue was very nice, clean, comfy, new feeling. The staff were friendly and obliging. The chips were good, and the nuggets in kids meal too. However.the 3 pieces of chicken in the 3 piece feed had been sitting too long, and the coating was dry. I bore with it, probably because I was managing two small children and had my hands full. However I realised later that really the chicken was not an acceptable standard. Next time I will take it back to the counter.

I am not a big fan of KFC but I would like to know where the sushi train was in this place? It seems more Asian than American

Good chicken with good prices. Decent service. I had to ask for my drink after ordering my food but other than that I'd love to go town Saturday, anyone up for it.
