Kensington Gardens Reserve reviews
39Let's say plenty of shade, plenty of space to kick a footy, shoot sum hoops, swing a bat and the playground is fun for all ages.
Beautiful area, toilets were a bit grotty and no toilet paper however it was very busy with 2 cricket matches and a corporate event all happening
Kensington Gardens reserve is a very large green park. Three ovals (Colonel waite oval, Ford Oval and Parkinson Oval), many tennis courts and three bowling courts, some basketball courts are there. Kensington Gardens preschool centre and Burnside Rugby Union Club are also in this reserve. Stonefell Creek goes through it. The environment is very beautiful.
More than a dozen kinds of children's entertainment facilities in the playgrounds here. There are many animal sculptures carved on a huge log which is nearby the Burnside Adventure Playground. It's a great place for sporting, children playing, party and barbecue and so on. There are lots of parking lots and parking spaces.
Great park for all ages, lots andots of space to kick the footy. Tunnels swings, slides all the good stuff.
Wonderful place in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. I grew up on the East Terrace in the era when ordinary mortals could live there. Took it for granted. It's 'millionaires row' now. Houses overlooking the park now over $2 million each. Some multiples of that.
Love our local Kensington Garden Reserve. Sports fields, cricket, footy, tennis, lawn bowls, basketball, kids playgrounds, ducks and other bird life. 2 blocks from our home. Such good family walks and vibe.
Beautiful parkland reserve with many huge gums, a flowing creek with a native plant corridor along its banks, plenty of shady spots and seats, and green grassed areas. An adventure park for kids, and great for picnics or a walk with your dog.
Beautiful vistas at every turn and multiple sporting grounds in the heart of the Leafy Eastern Suburbs of Adelaide
Great place to jog, walk or picnic. Well maintained grounds and suitable for off-leash dog walking.
Nice park, ideal for a barbeque or picnic. A little light on for amenities but very picturesque.
Great place for sports. Also great for walking dogs, but some people are very touchy about what kind of dog you have.
As very big park with lots of facilities 2 or 3 football fields, at least 3 tennis courts plus a lawn tennis club, and a hardcourt club, one large playground and a smaller playground. A duck pond which really needs a major cleanup and upgrade. Good picnic area, lots of gums and plenty of parking.
A beautiful place to stop and absorb the winter sun, with a large friendly magpie flock, and adorable ducks waddling from the water to the plentiful shade of some seriously lovely eucalypts.
An incredibly good place to come with your whole family, and free to the public. Sporting facilities (tennis, cricket, rugby etc.), awesome playgound, jogging, public outdoor BBQs picnic on the grass and lots more. Trees provide plenty of shade and loads of parking. Well worth the look.
Spacious grounds with two ovals, a sports club, a lake and two playgrounds. The main playground has BBQ facilities and some great equipment including a flying fox.
Wonderful playground for the kids. Flying fox, cave, rope tower and lots more. Ample parking on and off street. Lots of trees to set a picnic under. We'll maintained and kept clean by council.
Well maintained and beautiful to walk through. Does need more drink fountains but there are plenty of taps.
Plenty of tennis courts, playgrounds, areas for activities, picnics etc. Summer time is often pretty busy on the weekends.
