Kangaroo Island Seaview Motel

Too old and too expensive needs an update, imagine you can actually hire a room with a bathroom you have to share. Disgraceful!

Very comfortable room and excellent customer service. Yen was such a pleasure to deal with and made our whole journey very relaxed. We stayed in a room over looking the water very clean and beautiful views. Great location if you are looking for somewhere to eat or have a drink as well. Next time we’re in Kangaroo Island we will be staying here.

The Baudin suite room didn't have a kitchenette as advertised. It only had a small fridge, and a cupboard with minimum small bowls and plates, cups along with cutleries, a microwave and kettle. No wash basin in the kitchenette, no handtowels. So we had wash dishes in the bathroom sink and then boil water in the kettle and wash again to make it properly clean. Spider was spotted in the room and no proper toiletries. It only had a small soap pump which can be used both as shampoo and body wash. Not happy with the arrangements. Spent $400 for two nights. Not worth it.

This is a 3-star place so don't expect too much. Room was clean no issues. Place is long past its formal glory. Common facilities need better clean.

We were lucky enough to be the first guests in the newly decorated unit, and we had a lovely stay. Seaview motel is central, just a short walking distance from everything you need in Kingscote. Our stay was peaceful, with comfortable beds and hot, high pressure showers. Paris, Jade, Alana and other staff members are courteous and thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay including organising our ferry transfer. I highly recommend Seaview motel as a home base for anyone's stay in KI.

This motel was fantastic. The proprietors were so wonderful and welcoming and helped with everything we needed. Highly recommended

Lovely little place in a good spot in town. Close to the beach and shops.
Spent 4 nights in the Apartment upstairs which offers a stunning view of the bay. Highly reccomended for families.
The staff were friendly especially Alana who went the extra mile to make sure our sealink bookings were smooth.

So many reviews talking about how dated this place is, but this is exactly what fascinated me. This motel is super clean and comfy, close to everything you need and with a beautiful view. I gave 4 stars only because there is nothing to cook with (even a tiny stove in the kitchen would be great), but other then that, it is a good place to stay. Absolutely recommended

Billie was so welcoming and friendly. The room was dated, but clean. I had a room with a shared bathroom and the bathroom was very clean. No mold or hairs anywhere. The views from my room truly we're "sea views". Came with my own sink, mini fridge, table and chairs, tv, fan, heater, heated bed sheet. The location is perfect. 2-5 minute walk to everything.
