29Great little bakery, awesome selection of pies, cakes, salads and made to order sandwiches. Everything fresh, it was busy but they had lots of staff and I can see why its so popular
Awesome range of baked goods and the jelly cakes would have to be the best on the planet! Where else can you get a double cut roll loaded with fresh filling these days? On the way back to Adelaide, we always stock up on cold pies and pasties for the freezer
I have not been back to Port Augusta in 17yrs and was absolutely delighted to find this gem of a Bakery still going strong with quality and taste! Their mince pies are THE best ever! Well worth paying a visit
NOT open on long weekend Monday? Have you seen the business that Port Wakefield bakery does?
Steak n kindney pies are by far the best ive tried anywhere in S. A
Awsome.fresh cakes n buns, salad rolls best little shop
Worst customer experience I’ve ever had at a bakery. Rushing customers and abrupt responses. Definitely would not recommend unless you want to be spoken to poorly.
I love the pasties and their donuts they make in store. Friendly staff. And they make a good cuppacino
Cant beat their food. Best pies in the state in my opinion. Great range of pastries and cakes. Sandwiches and rolls made to order. Service is always friendly and with a smile. Catering available.
Admittedly the food was decent. Not the best pie and donut I've had on the country road but certainly far from the worse. The disappointing part was the service. Had two staff members, an older lady and a younger, look at us and then walk away as they didnt want to serve us for some reason. The second lady looked at us waiting then walked out the back and the first lady looked at us with no smile and went straight to the next customer in the line who was a local and a friend of hers and served her first. Eventually the third lady served us and she was friendly. Not sure if they don't really like tourists or just a bad day. Next time will probably just drive through to Whyalla.
