Jasmin Indian Restaurant reviews
66Fantastic Indian food. The staff are helpful without being intrusive. Great selection of beer and wine. Been here a couple of times and would definitely go again.
What an amazing food experience. Food was to die for, wine spot on. Staff were on point. Will definitely be back on return to Adelaide. Superb is the only way I can describe the meal. There is a reason the place was full, in the city, on a Wednesday.
This place is an Adelaide institution. The host is wonderful - a very distinguished gentleman indeed. Great vibe throughout.
Ambience was good with friendly staff.
Food was literally 2 days old (at least) and reheated even the Chapati was not spared! Had a bad experience after a long time… unlucky me… may be too busy to keep an eye on the quality.not going to recommend anyone who knows about authentic Indian food!
Must visit restaurant in Adelaide. Staff are lovely, Food is amazing and the place is quiet and calming. An ideal spot for a date. I recommend the feed me menu. The staff are happy to make adjustments to the dishes depending on your preference and dietary requirements and you have the opportunity to try a range of dishes. If you’re up for a spicy food challenge, try the Tindaloo dish.
Thank you Jasmin, for being so consistently amazing. Seriously enjoyed our meal.
Exceptional!
Great friendly service. Had the $55 feed me menu which was definitely filling but flavour was underwhelming. Between 4 of us we had papadums, blue cheese naan, tandoori fish, pakora, grilled mushroom, garlic naan, cheese naan, butter chicken, cauliflower and potato curry, prawn curry, lamb curry, raita and cumin rice. Generally curries had a bland flavour with a spice taste which was not to my liking - felt a little bland, unbalanced and raw spice flavour. Rice was cooked with cumin seeds which again threw off spice balance. Butter chicken had a bitter taste. Fig icecream had a strange smoky flavour. Mango lassi was a little watery. My other half loved the flavours so I suspect it's just not to my liking.
Went to Jasmin for the first time last week and loved it! Very secluded and private location, service was exceptional and food absolutely delicious and authentic. Highly recommend
The best food in Adelaide. Iv been to many places around the world & the jasmin is still my favourite you will not be disappointed.
Amazing food and service! One of the best Indian restaurants in Adelaide with an incredible atmosphere and a chef who never fails to impress! Great place to head for a long lunch
Fantastic service, Lee and the rest of the team were all on the ball and alway checking to see the food was good and I didn’t need anything. The food was great and I would highly recommend. They can be very busy but we’ll worth the wait.
Food is really fantastic. Service is great. I really loved the flavours. Highly recommend this place.
Easily my favourite Indian restaurant in Australia. The blue vein cheese naan is mesmerizing and the tindaloo will knock your socks off. Fantastic menu and even better service. Will always come back here for A+ quality food.
Amazing Indian food that is very authentic and of the highest quality. Great wine list too. This restaurant is supported by a friendly team who always provide great customer service. Thank you Jasmin Indian Restaurant!
Absolutely the best flavours ever. Certainly NOT overpriced for what this restaurant presents. Go and see for yourselves. Great menu variety and wine list. Just a lovely taste sensation! Not many restaurants can boast 41 years of delicious business!
Terrific food, lovely ambience … the 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed our night. Enjoyed the ‘Feed Me’ banquet! Busy place, so recommend booking. Lovely service too!
If not the best Indian restaurant in Adelaide, it is definitely one of the bests. The decor is classic and old and the staff were very professional and friendly. We ordered two appetisers and four main dishes with a bottle of wine. Two lamb dishes, one beef and one chicken. Rice and naan bread as sides. The wine was suggested by the waiter and it was just the spot on. Panjabi lamb chops cooked in tandoor was the best dish by far. Butter chicken was the best i have tried so far. The beef in the vindaloo could have been cooked a bit more. The naan bread was a bit too doughy and under cooked on top and almost burnt down the bottom and a bit too thick. The presentation can be easily improved. But all and all, well done to the team and for sure i will visit this restaurant soon.
Food was not as expected. Naan was burned and when notify the staff they were arguing that this is the best naan. Manager came to our table and confirmed that naan was burned and arrange another lot. Quantity very less they really need to work on that. Very limited options for Vegetarians and specially for Paneer lovers only one option. Even if we request their staff to make different Paneer they refused.
Best Indian food ever. Each dish was a taste experience to be savoured. Had the banquet and it was truly amazing. I never post reviews on food but this is a rare exception. We eat Indian food regularly and this is notable. Six stars.
Service was absolutely fantastic! But the food is just ok. I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting a lot from this institution. Overall it’s a great place with a fabulous host Would recommend for an introduction with Indian cuisine!
