Innovative Eye Care Henley Beach reviews
26My family has utilised their comprehensive services waaaay back since they were based at Richmond. Now having used both the CBD and Woodville clinic, I can highly recommend the professionalism and friendly care from all staff. They move mountains for emergency care and are highly commendable in all optical solutions and support. Consistent, upto date technology, fantastic adhesion to optical care.
I recently went to innovative eye care. They are awesome! Probably one of the best optometrist I have been to in Adelaide! Customer service was awesome and staff members were very knowledgeable. They have a wide range of optical products and the best equipment/technology! Both Lachlan and Jo are really professional and knowledgeable! You can tell that they really care about their customers! Would highly recommend anyone in Adelaide to go through them! Because I will definitely be going through them for future eye care services!
I went to Innovative Eye Care to get a second opinion about my prescription and to buy new glasses.
The consultation with the optometrist was very informative. Pooja was really friendly, answered all the questions and actually took interest in my vision.
Choosing frames was a bit different story. I tried to be clear that I am not sure what frames match my face and complexion and I am looking for a little bit of guidance. The lady did indeed show me some frames, but seemed not to have the right knowledge (or unwilling to share it) to actually help me. I was told clients usually choose what they like anyway (which might be true, but normally they base it on something or someone's perspective - especially if they can't see themselves) and pretty much I was encouraged to take photos of me with every frame - which is exactly what I've been doing in every other place where I was left to browse. When I turn towards the lady to seek her opinion, there would be no clear reaction or expertise of why frames are good or not. Overall I got a not very friendly vibe and felt like I am wasting their time.
The collection itself was not very interesting either in my opinion, not many vibrant choices at all, and each pair is quite expensive - cheapest I've seen is $500. On top of the $160 consultation and $40 tiny prism, it would get really expensive - especially if you make an almost literally blind decision about the frames that you wear all the time.
Overall I recommend consultation with Pooja, but if you are seeking for eyewear, make sure you bring a trusted person with you and have sufficient funds.
Very professional and detailed approach to having my eyes checked, the staff at Woodville will go above and beyond. Customer service is very personable)
I've never written a review of anything before, but this might help someone who needs it. The fact that Ron Fieldhouse, a legend in eye care, entrusted his patients to Dr. Lachlan Scott-Hoy on his retirement speaks volumes. Dr. Hoy has built on Mr. Fieldhouse's foundation and doubtless been mentored by him. "Lachie" has developed the practice in the best culture of professionalism and clearly strives for super-excellence. He knows his stuff so well that he can explain it so you understand. If you have an eye problem simple or complex, in my opinion you can't do better than consult Innovative Eye Care.
