Hypnothaized - Thai Restaurant

The service was exceptional & the meals were delicious. The menu features a range of traditional Thai dishes and has a decent sized wine list to accompany. Although the restaurant is rather small, it has a cosy & relaxing but welcoming vibe to it. A good choice for couples or small groups.

Had take away meal on Saturday night, including duck curry, eggplant and minced chicken, Asian vegs and steamed rice. Was delicious and would recommend.

A friend wanted some Thai food for dinner and after reading these reviews we decided to try some takeaway.
I am very disappointed, the food was so salty and tasted of something burnt. The pad thai was not a pad thai, I guess they do not know the difference between a pad thai and normal fried noodles.
I have aThai background and know what these food should taste like and do not recommend this place after my experience.

The front of house staff was great and gave me some replacement but it was no better.

The food here is awesome! We ate at Hypothaized yesterday night for dinner in a group. The service was very attentive and helpful (especially in regards to my allergy and ensuring all the food is safe). However even better was the food! We got the mixed entree which was not only great tasting but also value for money followed by a a few different mains all of which were delicious however my 2 favourites were the special eggplant and the choo chee chicken curry. Will absolutely be back to this gem of a restaurant!

Just Awesome. Great tasting Thai food with all the favourites and some chef specials to add to the experience.

Have now been here several times and the quality, service and atmosphere is consistently great.

The service was sensational, Ashlee our waitress was bubbly, engaging and entertaining and obviously enjoyed her work. The food was fantastic the soft shell crab was simply devine and the double cooked pork belly had a subtle texture with a heavenly sauce paired with a smooth pinot noir this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time!

A great experience on Saturday night. We usually head to Thai Orchid, but we decided to try Hypnothaized instead. We were glad we did!
Lovely staff and the food was just delicious. You can't ask for much more for a Saturday night meal:)

Hypnothaized is my favourite thai restaurant. The eggplant is sensational. Service is friendly and attentive while not being intrusive.

The ambience was genuine and authentic, with a cool and current beat playing in the background it was only inevitable that good food was going to head the pass and eventually land safely on our table soon only to be demolished by two hungry humans!

Amazingly delicious point blank! Food was exceptionally & excuisitly served! Ordered something off menu as seen on internet but they lovingly catered to us, my mother can't eat heavy food & we'd seen the crockpot seafood dish on the internet. I feel they just made our evening incredible! The service was Brilliant! Had previously tried other restaurants and we were left so unhappy and with tummy aches, but this restaurant is Brilliant! I had the Burramundi choo chee curry and vegetarian fried rice, fish melted in my mouth! Highly recommended! What a great end to our weekend in Adalaide here from Cairns! Better than any Thai in Cairns too!

Very disappointed after such great reviews here. Drove 600km to finally reach our accommodation to want to have a delicious tasty Thai dinner. Cashew nut chicken, Red Duck Curry and Steamed Rice. The duck was dry and the sauce was average. The cashew nut chicken was really bland and boring. The service was good and friendly and sorry to put such a bad review but we are sick of being constantly disappointed in dining out.too many restaurants charging above-average prices for below-average food. Plus, I did not see ONE Thai person in the place, not even a Thai or Asian customer, what do you think that means? Good luck Hypnothaized, plenty of room for improvement!
