Hypnothaized - Thai Restaurant

We've always enjoyed this venue up until recently, our last dine in took an extremely long time to receive our meal and tonight for the first time we had takeaway, it took over an hour to get our food then to get home with a "not so good" experience The Lemongrass stirfry with prawns lacked flavour and the fried rice was gluggy and inedible. Disappointed.

Lovely food and friendly service, but the delivery of our food was very slap happy. We chose not to share, which was explained when ordering but there was a large wait between all of our dishes being served.

Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars was because the massaman sauce was tasty, other than that our experience was below average, we made our booking through the fork which gave us 30% off our bill, we were seated and ordered drinks first, the coke 0 we ordered was flat and asked the server if the pump needed changing she said it was from a can she would get another. The second coke was just as flat so we asked if she could bring the can over to us so we could see the expiry date when she went to get the can she checked the date her self and laughed and came over and said yeah it’s expired but wouldn’t give us the can to see how far past exp it was. Not off the best start but we were still hopeful the food would be a hit. We started with the entree platter and a serve of Satay chicken. The chicken was raw, still bleeding pink I would upload a photo if I could, she apologised to us and went onto our mains, it was all below average nothing I wouldn’t go back.the beef from the massaman was over cooked and dry but the sauce had potential we ordered 5 different dishes and nothing amazed us just your average Thai food nothing I would go back for. When we went to go pay and we let her know we booked on the fork for 30% off she was happy to put that thro and said she would give us another $30 discount for the raw chicken incident. After checking the bill she over charged us so we went to confirm with her and she said “we’ll I can fix the bill but I’m not longer giving you your discount for the raw chicken” we never asked for discount taking it off the bill would have been enough for us but she gave us the discount then took it away as if the raw chicken was our fault? Over all won’t be back below average food waited an extended amount of time for out food and nothing was really worth the wait. Much better Thai places around.

Excellent service with yuli. Food was fantastic and there hospitality exceptional. Thankyou for being open when everyone else in the state was closed. Very much appreciated. Fantastic food and portions.

Surprisingly good. We didn't know this little gem was on Henley Beach Rd. Number was a little challenging because there are 2 number 43 be careful where you go on HB Rd.

Yuli welcomed our group just as she was closing the doors for the night and she could have easily told us “bad luck, I’m going home”.
The great service continued throughout the meal.
Food was awesome, beers were cold.
You’ve gotta try the crispy chicken!

Ordered delivery via Uber at 7: 30pm on Saturday night, expected delivery 8: 20-8: 30. Uber delivery driver arrives at restaurant at 8: 15.eta pushed back.eta pushed back.eta pushed back.delivery finally made just before 9: 10.way too late for children to eat so had to feed them starters for dinner.the rest of the adults were awkwardly waiting.restaurant was good enough to throw in a tofu dish as apology.no recourse from restaurant, none from uber.the poor driver waiting 45 minutes to deliver! Food was very average and cold. It's been four years since we tried Hypnothaized, we'll now wait until they change hands again.

Splendid dinner tonight with 2 of my sisters. It was the best RED DUCK Curry I've ever had.excellent spicy SATAY stix.and finishing with a magnificent warm BLACK RICE pudding with Mango. Fantastic efficient and friendly service.

Our meal and service was exceptional. My husband and friends loved all the food. It was not only cooked well but had amazing sauce favours. We have marked what we ate so we can eat a new meal on our next visit Crazy not to go there. We'll decorated and friendly staff. The bird cages are exquisite.

Amazing food and service, complimented by a great atmosphere. Booked a table of 3, one of our party members is celiac and the restaurant was easily able to accommodate.

Me and my partner had dinner on Wednesday and tried the Eggplant chicken which was amazing! But the tofu could use some more seasoning. Service was great! Will be back”

The dishes tasted very similar.could not differentiate in vegetable style, type and sauces were very mild. Food was nice but lacked a nice Thai punch

Last weekend was the second time Ive been to Hypnothaized. I remember the first time was great so I was really looking forward to going back. I like the atmosphere its really cozy, nicely decorated and good for a date night. The entrees we had were amazing - especially the scallops. My main was a bit average unfortunately (hence only four stars) - I ordered the chilli and garlic prawn stir fry but I couldn't taste the chilli at all and I thought the meal was a bit salty. They also bought my main out before my partners so it was sitting there for a while which was a bit disappointing although they did apologise. My partner had one of the specials and he loved it - I had a taste too and it was really good! The staff were really friendly and overall we enjoyed our night. I'll go back but just ask for extra chilli if I order a chill dish:)

Very un-impressed! I ordered Hypnotised from Uber Eats on Saturday night. Meals were cold, my Pad Thai was under flavoured, plain and tiny! My partners Chicken "Stir Fry" was basically just chicken and veg, no rice or noodles! In my opinion extremely overpriced, over $80 and we were both left hungry. I would never order from here again.

Food was great. The food has been Aussie modified, which is fine. Probably not what you get in Thailand. Good service.
An enjoyable night.

Just had a delicious Thai meal at Hypnothaized - choo chee curry chicken, garlic chilli prawns & delicious pork/crackle & their personalised sauce. Very tasty. Staff were very friendly & relaxed atmosphere. We will be back.

Second time in 2 years we've eaten there. Food is at the same standard, prices are a little high but you get what you pay for. Staff were friendly too and checked how our meal was.

Last minute booking as we were in the neighbourhood - warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. With loads of dishes that could be veganised for me - spoilt for choice! Well worth a drive down from the hills:)
