Hut & Soul reviews
78Excellent food and service. Staff attentive. Food well presented with an eye for detail. Definitely worth trying
Tasty Malaysian cuisine, friendly staff. Love the desserts! Must try the panden coconut crepe and the Red &Black
Fantastic food! If you’re looking for some great Indonesian food, Hutt and Soul is the place! Try the prawn spring rolls and the mamak fish curry, both are amazing!
We had fantastic experience, the most delicious food and fabulous customer service. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Can't wait to come back on or next visit to SA.
The food here is great, but please please lose the loud cheesy music as it just doesn't go with the atmosphere in this restaurant (Elvis Presley, Beatles, Carpenters and other various 60's, 70's songs). Nice ambient peaceful appropriate background music would make this a 5 star experience. Please consider this suggestion.
Handsdown a superb experience. Each meal is a superb work if art. Presentation plus. Taste and texture perfection. The Singapore Chilli crab was a sensation. Thank you with my Hutt and Soul.
Incredibly high quality food, wonderful flavours and friendly, professional staff. They were accommodating with making dishes vegan too.
Easily one of the best meals Ive had in Adelaide. Fantastic food and even better service. The worst thing is deciding what to get because its all delicious.
The food was sensational and delicious. The best lve had for a long time. The staff were so very nice and approachable.ready to please. Will go back as l need to try the other dishes on the menu. My new favourite restaurant
Partner ordered Vegan Mamak Mee Goreng through uber.tofu on top.full of chicken underneath the noodles. Extremely disappointed, would not recommend. Thanks.
Great service, peppered lamb was beautiful. Char Kway Teow whilst tasty, the noodles were overcooked and mushy. Overall I would go back again.
Excellent Roti, very good range of vegan options, attentive but not overbearing staff, not too noisy, good valued for better quality menu. Parking not too bad after 5: 30pm on the side streets. Has outdoor option. Lighting a bit too dim.
Coming from South East Asia myself, I can strongly recommend this place for anyone seeking good Malaysian/Indonesian/Singaporean food at a reputable establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The ambience was really nice as well. It may be on the pricier end but is a good option to consider when looking for a place to eat on a special night out.
Had a chance to dine in this restaurant a couple of years ago when visiting Adl.
Food was excellent, just the right portion size for the 4 of us. The ambiance was nice and cozy. Music was not too loud. My family had a good time enjoying the food and spending time together.
Service was top notch too. The waitress were attentive. The owner came to say hello and even recommended some of their specialty dishes for my vegetarian sister.
And, top notch wine selection. Love to go back someday
OMG! Assam laksa was just like home. Char kway teow good wok hey. Chicken rice nothing special. The satay was ok but really $$$. Recommend if you’re coming for Sunday lunch - make a booking prior
Friend recommend this place for their laksa. Finally I gotten a chance to try out today. Very disappointed I would say. Paying $17.90 for two "big" prawn laksa with little other ingredients yet the prawn are not fresh. I wouldn't go back for sure.
Wonderful food and excellent service. One of our family favourite eat out haunts. The laksa and Singapore chilli prawns dishes are highly recommended.
Wanted to order some food for delivery and they offered free delivery over $35. So I went ahead and placed my order. Couple of minutes later I got a call from them saying that they can't do free delivery more than 5km. Fine. I offered to pay more for the delivery. They said no as well. There isn't any terms and conditions on their menu stating that free delivery within 5km only. Please redesign your menu to not confuse others next time. Wasted my time and I'm starving.
An Asian restaurant that packed with Asians, and older Asians which is always a good sign. The food is good and authentic but could have a bit more chillies in some of the dishes. A bit disappointed as the kids wanted chicken rice & been recommended they served the best chicken rice but they don’t serve chicken rice at night, only lunch. Why? Service is probably the best among all the Asian restaurants we have been, a tad more professional and huge serving. The hawker lunch menu looks very interesting, will be back to try the lunch. The drawback is hard to get a car park.
Takeaway dinner: just as good as eating in. We took away to our home in the suburb. Nicely packed, no spills. Absolutely delicious just like the many times we ate in with friends before covid policies closed the dine in. We’re asians so appreciate the lovely spices & fresh ingredients. Take home & transfer onto your best dinner plates & fine cutlery-there you are really fine dining in the comfort of your home. You can’t do better. Enjoy so much like we did tonite. Worth the effort to come out of the comfort of your suburb for this really delicious food you can’t get elsewhere.
