HOYTS Norwood reviews
51Cinemas are great but Hoyt’s, the food prices are getting insane! $20 for a drink and popcorn! The same drink at Maccas is $2 and popcorn is dirt cheap to make… I can by a whole family meal box at McDonalds for not much more! If you want people to buy more snacks then you have to do something about your exorbitant food prices!
This place has amazing quality! One time I took my three children here to watch the barbie movie and they absolutely loved it, but they kinda did not agree with the ending of the movie resulting in them now longer doing what i tell them to but ive worked it out with them anyways barbie movie was amazing!
Went there to watch Venom today and got a headache after out of the insanely loud sound level. They definitely need to readjust the sound level.
Everything is great, I had one feedback about laod volume in cinema, which they replied me very kindly.
For anyone like me that doesn't know, we can ask the staff to adjust the volume if we are not comfortable with. It is a great option.
We definitely go back again.
I absolutely loved the recliner chairs. The cinema was lovely and clean. I enjoyed my movie able to sit quite comfortably for the duration. Will definitely be going here now for movies instead of elsewhere! A well maintained cinema is much more pleasant to visit.
Liked the space and seats. The self serve checkout would not accept my card. Sitting in the back row appears to cause ambient noise to travel further.
My favourite cinema in Adelaide. The seats are so comfy and it’s modern and nice. The candy bar is way overpriced but that’s cinemas for you!
Luxury recliners for all tickets, my kids and I love the comfort and Ben & Jerry ice cream at Hoyts Norwood.
Great Cinema and movie collection! However the washroom gets closed at 11 so if you finished your movie at midnight and want to use washroom you can’t use it! That’s not appropriate service as you must provide till the cinema closed! Probably council needs to step up!
Comfortable seats. We went there to watch Those who wish me dead - terrible movie but the overall cinema experience was great. Again, it is worth mentioning that the seats were very comfortable. If only they reclined - we did not go for gold.
We were advised when we got there that as session was over 50%full, masks were required. This information should have been on website.
Went in to see a film. 10 people in total. Noise of film was so loud I walked out (first time ever). Put up with noise for 1 hr, but still had 1.5hrs left. Saw Manager who was kind & gave us 2x tickets as Refund.
Cinema itself was really nice, comfortable seats. But the teenagers constantly calling out throughout the movie, and the groups of them hanging out in the carpark throwing glass bottles around ruined the night. Was a 730 showing on a Saturday night. We wont be back.
Great and Excellent Chairs!
Huge and electric chair control, truly unbelievable,
Wish we had this in Sydney, only premium cinemas have large electric recliners, here its standard!
Great cinema movie centre
The new seats there are totally great! I almost feel asleep on the comfortable reclining seats. Other cinemas will need to up their game.
I always go for the extreme screen. The reclining seats are uber soft and comfortable. The location is also perfect, with so many food options nearby. The ticketing is also extremely easy, with online tickets and kiosk machines.
Watching the movie on reclining sofas! Much improved since last I visited. It's better than an airplane seat! Value for money. Awesome!
Loved the seats! It comes with extendible footrests. The price of the ticket is reasonable too. Will make it a point to come here to watch movies in the future.
Hassle-free movie experience. We usually buy tix online to skip the queue, but even if we don’t we’re in and seated in no time. Clean, comfy and a great spot. Food situated all around and nearby.
Our favorite cinemas in Adelaide, not only because the cinemas by themselves, but because it is not crowded, the are shopping options outside, good restaurants & pubs and nice suburb to drive. Plenty of parking under cover that your cinema tickets can "redeem" I think upto 2 or 3 hrs, don't remember, but don't forget to stamp your parking ticket in the cinema's counter.
