Hive Barossa reviews
32We were driving around the Barossa Valley and stopped for something to eat. Really good all round.
Cosy atmosphere, spectacular coffee, delicious food. Will definitely be back for future brunches!
A recommendation from Maddie at Seppeltsfield Winery, we are so happy that we came here! The coffee (as promised) was delicious!
And the food was all superb. I got the Queen Bee. The most unassuming highlight was the cherry tomatoes that were the purest, sweetest, tomato flavor I can remember having!
Highly recommend stopping in for brekkie!
People aren’t joking when said that 5 stars truly doesn’t cover it. For a couple travelling from fnq, this gorgeous space is a must visit. Gorgeous ladies, atmosphere, food and COFFEE, YUM! A special shout-out to Ella for going beyond and suggesting all things touristy to do while we visit!
Great cosy atmosphere. Exceptional food and coffee. Service slow though. Food came out before coffee. We spent around $70 for two big breakfasts and large coffees. Recommend.
Fabulous place to chill and have delicious healthy food and good coffee. My favorite coffee in whole Barossa!
Went to hive for brekky today. Lovely cafe, pretty spot and inviting. Ordered 2 eggs Benedict and two cold drinks $65 - after I paid I went back & questioned the price I got told there is a surcharge on saturdays and because I ordered bacon instead of ham it was extra, which I wasn’t told upon ordering when given the choice. The chai hadn’t been dissolved before the milk was
added so the chai was floating in the milk and not mixing. Sorry but I won’t be back, expensive and underwhelming.
Perhaps tell people the details when ordering so they know of extra costs before they do so.
We stopped by for breakfast. Lovely as soon as we opened the door. Nice atmosphere, lovely music, great food, great coffee and nice friendly service. Its a big ️ from me.
Stunning space, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely cheery staff and the chai latte is delectable. A great place to shop too - so many local makers on offer.
Great coffee ️. Had an awesome little brekky muffin, really polite, friendly, didn't have to wait long for my coffee, even though they were really busy. Highly recommend
My daughter and I dropped into this lovely cafe one morning. It has a great atmosphere and staff were friendly and efficient. Our morning tea of chocolate milkshake, cake, ham & cheese croissant and turkey & cheese toasted sandwich were delicious. I would highly recommend this top little cafe in Angaston!
Best cafe breakfast I’ve had in years! So nourishing and tasty. The pressed juice was delicious too?
Had a cosy breakfast and coffee mid week, food was generous and tasty and the house cold pressed juice was delish. The cafe was bustling but the service was still fast and friendly. We had the Queen Bee big breakfast, and the mushroom toastie with bacon, can recommend.
I visit Hive regularly for breakfast with friends and the experience is always A+. Great service, and delicious food and coffee! The Plantlover is a winner, and the chilli onion on the Herb Scramble is yum! I also greatly appreciate the giant-sized coffee cups for early morning visits
Great food, service, coffee and atmosphere. We really enjoyed our breakfast and the locally made gifts available. The pottery was just beautiful.
Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a (very good) burger. I’m celiac (no gluten) and they handled my allergy without a hitch. I even got fries.
Had 2 medium Flat white coffees 1 serve for 2 of Wattle seed (I think) and fruit toast. Came burnt. Cost $25.50 Disappointing and far too expensive.
Had an amazing brekkie. My super fussy kids loved the waffles, my vegan brekkie was delish and my hubby loved his smashed avo and his bucket of coffee! Totally recommend.
It's awesome to see the owner committed to quality provided by staff, I appreciate the follow up on my visit
