Heron Way Reserve reviews
36Simple playground with a strong native theme. The proximity to the rock pools on the beach is great too.
I visut Hallett Cove Beach nearly evetyday as it is my place of tranquility.
No one could be more happier than I when I heard the outdoor pool IS NOT GOING AHEAD.
Truly this sacred place does not need it. This is a place ANZAC DAY Services
take place on 25th Aprilfools plus many more events.
More disability car spaces are needed ideally on Heron way.
Good park, skate Park and playground for toddlers, young children and teenagers. Dogs can run on the oval.
A beautiful spot for walking, with the best sunsets. Glad most people do the right thing, and keep dogs leashed here.
Beautiful location overlooking the ocean. There is a wooden walkway along the cliff that give you a beautiful view of the sea.
A nice little playground and walk around the little beach. There's a cafe at the start of the glacier walk with smoothies, burgers, ice creams etc. Nice spot for a play or a walk.
Looked amazing.
On closer inspection there is a swing and a slide.
There is meant to be a water play area but none of the water works.
And is Hallett cove do it is absolutely horrible and windy.
Would never come here for a play voluntarily.
Very nice and clean playground. Has great areas for kids to climb and explore, as well as a large grassed area for them to roll down. The playground has everything kids need to stay busy for a while. There’s great views, toilets and a bbq area. Very close to the Boatshed Cafe where they serve excellent coffee and food
Beautiful reserve and playground with lots of things for kids to do and a beautiful view. Also has barbecue hotplates, shelters, and a public toilet (but only 1 and it can get busy!)
Nice and quiet. Cold? In the evenin,
Will go in summer as it is great to hang out with friends.
This is a beautiful family friendly spot for all to enjoy. A nice Playground situated in front of the ocean with plenty of well maintained lawn for activities or just to sit and capture the views. There are plenty of benches along the path. Toilet facilities located at the end of path on Heron Way as well as next to the café. We walked the boardwalk for about 4km to get to this spot and arrived just before sunset. Plenty of street parking available. There is also a bbq near a shaded area just past the playground.
Great clean nature park right next too the beach public toilets with baby change table next to park.
Great grassed area to relax with stunning views of the beach.picnic and BBQ facilities and coffee and food available from the boatshed.
Always a moving ANZAC Dawn Service looking towards the cliffs and sea. Also the perfect place for a picnic with plenty of room for games.
The water fwature for kids is not working, covered with rubbish, empty bottles and take away food packages, someone's throw up. Disgusting!
Grear adventure water playground, which complements the rocky beach. Swings, slide, rope climb, outdoor gym, water play and climbing rocks and logs galore. Toilets near by and barbecue and seated facilities on the path.
Summer heat beautiful beach and snorkeling? Anyways the view is amazing but the heat not so. They are shades available and playgrounds as well. Well just get the sunscreens, hats and umbrella ready in case if youre staying long.
Great place to hang out and have a picnic, there's a playgroundfor kids and a public BBQ to use as well. The beach is rocky but good to hang out at.
Very lovely nature based playground. Great swings and slide, plus climbing equipment on natural logs and steps. Fun little sandpit as well. Nothing can beat the location!
Very nice place for having a barbecue with family and friends (there's a playground too) while enjoying the sea breeze. The water round the beach is really shallow so you could play with your children there as long as you don't stray too far from the shore.
I haven't tried it, but I think it would also be a great place to enjoy one of Adelaide's hundred sunsets.
