Hazelmere Road Reserve reviews
53Fantastic venue for me and my little pawster Charlie to spend an afternoon in the sun. Clean, all utilities were excellent. Great little social spot for puppies owners too!
You can leave small children here while you shop and hopefully someone else can take them off your hands
There's a pink coffee van that frequents here and they are seriously the loveliest people that emerge themselves in a delightful mix of coffee and dog culture! Park is well kept and offers a smaller fenced in area for smaller dogs.
We have a 7 month old mini dachshund. It was her first time there. She loves it. So happy it’s split between small and big dogs. Great facilities and free parking. We were hesitant about taking her to a dog park due to precious horror stories but this one is fantastic. We will be taking her back, multiple times a week. Great to get your dog socialised in a safe environment.
Hazelmere Reserve is a great versatile park. It has a playground for kids and a dog park for your furry ones. The kids playground has slides, swings, a spider climbing pyramid, a big hammock and a rubber roundabout with a few kids ride on equipment. Beside the playground is a huge grassy area where you can sit or play ball. It also has a half basketball court, a netball court and a full tennis court. There is a Robot toilet on both kids playground and dog park. Covered seating areas and a BBQ. The playground has a shade sail and several trees that protect the area from the harsh sun. And the ground is covered in wooden chips. The park has a lot of car park available and even a bicycle rack. The dog park next to the playground is a huge grassy area, it has quite a few open and covered seating areas. A Robot toilet, a water fountain and surrounded with a lot of trees. The only thing missing would be a plug.
I did enjoy my visit to the dog park.i did not like when the toilets were very dirty and stinky and the water barely come out of the fountains.another thing i didn't like was the bqq not being clean.was not happy about this place.
Great place to take dogs as it caters for big & small dogs as there are 2 separate areas. Generally clean and well maintained. Also a children's playground.
Big Dogs, little Dogs, long Dogs, short Dogs, going for a walk Dogs, chasing birds that squawk Dogs, learning how to talk Dogs, open eyes to gawk Dogs, flying like a hawk Dogs, hiding in the stork Dogs, learning from the taught Dogs, balls that people brought Dogs, ages old to nought Dogs, frisbees being caught Dogs, barking to retort Dogs, owners deep in thought Dogs.
A lovely place to take the dog. They've also slit the dog park up for big dog small dog which is nice
Beautiful park. Well looked after. Well laid out for everyone, 2 & 4 legged. Very friendly to newcomers and interstate visitors (me).
Many dog attacks here. Refuse to take my dog here with such a bad reputation.not worth the risk.
Large open grassed space to run your dog.
A few sheltered tables for a picnic. Electric BBQ outside the dog area, but large fenced children's play space.
Public toilets in both areas
Take a shade on busy, sunny days.
Please be aware of a 3 year old female Dalmatian, that attacked my dog and then another, I get that the owner is trying to socialise her but the dog should be muzzled until that happens.
Great path looping around the park & grass. Too often no poop bags though & also very wet, muddy/large puddle areas often.
Marvelous place. Every time I've been the owners have been great.
Love the small dog reserve too.
Designated small dog park with bigger dogs kept out. Good facilities also, with a children's playground next door.
A great place to go when you just have had your dog put down. Some really nice dogs and very friendly.
All dog lovers are approachable people, easy to talk to. Same love of dogs. Hazelmere small dog park is very accessible, has all the conveniences such as dedicated small dogs in together and safe from the larger dog area. There is a bench to sit at. Toilets adjacent. Basketball hoops, playground for kids and also Tennis courts! It has it all! Love it!
The small dog section is brilliant for not only little dogs but puppies of all breeds. There are some beautiful dogs and very nice owners whh who regularly attend
Nice park, good large size dog park for medium/large dogs and has a separate area for small dogs
