Hazelmere Road Reserve reviews
53A quick visit with our small dog Banjo. We hadn't been here for awhile. It is a great place to take your dog as there is a small dog section and a playground plus tennis courts. Also good toilets. Plenty of parking.
The best dog park around! Always take our little pup there and he enjoys it very much. Do need to restock the poop bags more often however.
Great place to take your dog.seperated fenced areas for big dogs and small dogs which is a big help, and a play park near it too.:) my ratdog loves making friends there and loves a dog named Leroi
Dog owners should distinguish between the sizes of the dogs and should take them to the appropriate small or big dog park. I haven’t given consent to any dog owner to hit my dog if their dog is not friendly towards my dog. I have been coming to the park for quite a while now and no dog owners or dogs have been feared from my dogs. Its just some dumb arrogant owners who can’t handle their dogs. Kind reminder to everyone don’t hit someone else’s dog no matter what.
Love the small dog park. Went with a friend and her 2 small dogs. Every body was so friendly.
Very friendly people. Good space for all breeds large and small. Some dogs a bit overfriendly. Have toilets, playground, special enclosure for smaller dogs, water on tap, path all around for walking and wheelchair access.
Really nice for dog and non dog owners with individual sites. Green grass, seats, shade, & open space.
This is an area for dogs but with very few facilities. Fences are quite low and a large dog would easily clear them. Muddy/ boggy in winter. There are picnic tables. Dog waste bags supplied Okay but could be better.
What more can you want! A playground right next to a dog park! The kids had a blast while I got to watch the cute dogs! Perfect.
I'm delighted that we found this small dog/ puppy park. Gary absolutely loves tearing astound with dogs his size.
We've found that dogs are well behaved and when they've got a bit too excited for our little pup, owners have stepped in and moved their dog away.
Good dog park. Decent people. You get the odd idiot here or there. But that's just life. Seperate area for small dogs if you prefer them away from larger dogs.
Fantastic dog park, with separate areas for small and large dogs. It even has a great coffee van on most Saturday mornings.
Great dog park and playground. A designated area for small and large dogs is separated, so small dogs and owners feel safe.
Lovely place for your fluffy friends. Had couple times with people who had “issues”, but majority are fine. Funny today I took my one year old puppy who is friendly and never got into any trouble with his doggy friends. This lady with German shepherd called out at me saying “hey can you get your dog? ” I looked over saw her dog was sat on by another, she automatically assumed I was standing there “staring” using her word, while I was looking at my phone and make sure my puppy is not causing any trouble and automatically assume that was my dog. Not sure if it is because I am the only asian standing there, she apparently was a lot nicer when she realise the dog jumping on hers belongs to two other ladies. It is pretty easy to pick up on the Asian hey, coz you know, sometime we might be bit dumb and not speak English and don’t know how to control our pet.
Great dog park. Separate areas for large and small dogs.
Best dog park in southern area. Toilets on sites.
This park is good as it has separate small and large dog areas fenced off.
10th birthday dog celebration.
A fantastic park it is not only a top pick for children who have great play equipment but also my favourite place to take my dogs as the dog park is absolutely lovely and welcoming for them. I give this park a 10 out of 10 and recommend it for any family to visit (including the fur babies)
There is a separate area for small and large dogs. They have toilets and a separate play area for children.
There's 2 SEPARATE, FENCED DOG sections here, aside from the also separately fenced Kids playground & Netball/Tennis Cts.
1) Larger grassed Park with newish cement walking path for LARGE Dogs. However, my poor, gentle 14yo Rhodesian Ridgeback/Greyhound, adopted & injured, large girl gets literally beaten up in there!
Sooo I've been taking her into the 2) SMALL DOG grassed, pathed section recently, to mostly wonderful, friendly accepting people with their variety of little puppers. I've not taken pix yet with new phone as I've been too busy monitoring her welfare.but will definitely add/take some next visit. She feels safer, so is much less stressed in there. Even after all the attacks, mounting attempts & bullying she is still the most gentle soul & literally like a caring Nana to her little friends in there.
There's a modern public toilet between the Large Pk & Playground & off street parking next to the courts (needs upgrading, full of pot holes). 1x
