Havelock Hotel reviews
45Meal was amazing, steak was absolutely perfect, everything was priced surprisingly well as well
Had a fabulous Friday evening here with friends. Staff were great and drink prices very reasonable, especially during Happy Hour.
Everyone enjoyed their meals.great views from the verandah too.
I had the calamari and salad and I loved it. Service super friendly, I just wish they had coffee and tea. But will go again
Over from TAS for the birth of my first Grand child. Called in and everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Lovely fire and cool aesthetics, great place to spend time with friends!
You could include some sauce with your Parmis if you are going to charge $29 for a pretty stingy serving. Bit of a rip off for anything except for the special for that night. Staff are really lovely and everything else is great.
It was schnitzel night on Monday. $10 shnitty if you buy a drink. The prawn topping was extra. The food was excellent and tasty. Service was quick and the venue is nice and trendy.
Great place for lunch. Make sure you are there early as the place can be crowded at lunch time. Food is good pub standard.
The food took OVER 1 HOUR and when it came out, it came all separate, hence we couldn't share our meal together.
The food was OVERCOOKED.
When we enquired about the food's waiting time, the Manager told us that they where going to give us free drinks.still waiting for them.
The music was TOO LOUD, so it was very hard to have a conversation.
Very disappointed.
Fantastic evening. One of the bar staff was a little 'grumpy', but aside from that it was excellent.
Went on Monday for the schnitzel night. Cannot recommend any higher. Their prices are incredibly fair and the food is amazing. Their $10 vegan schnitzels are probably the best I have had.
Poor service, flat coke but seem to make outlandish claims that they might be the world's best pub. As a seasoned traveller, I can assure you they're not even Adelaide's best pub. I pour better drinks in my lounge!
Great pub but there are some areas that can be improved upon. If you're going to have a Facebook presence then please ensure that everything's up to date and that you address feedback when someone asks you a question on Facebook. It's very annoying to turn up at a pub when its closed. Your opening hours are incorrect as you're closed on Sundays and this doesn't reflect with what's on Facebook.
Thursday Night Burgers $15
Seriously good kitchen made multi cut beef Pattie’s, crispy bacon absolutely on point
Nice atmosphere, great service. I ordered a fairly bespoke meal adapted from the menu, it came out perfectly (100% Keto). Excellent attention to detail and tasted good too.
Great schnitty deals on Mondays is still on, however the options have changed since new owners.
Still good value
Worst pub meal I’ve had in years. If you like frozen food, then this is the place for you. Our meal was that bad we couldn’t eat it. We were offered a refund that we refused, we just wanted a decent meal. 2 stars for great bar service. Better places to eat in Hutt St than here. Horrible.
A great place to have a wonderful meal. Pleasant atmosphere not noisy, comfortable surroundings and seating. Staff very pleasant and the meals very reasonable prices and very delicious. I recommend the Elephant Castle, for an enjoyable meal for anyone looking for a place, it's very central on the corner of Gilbert and West Tce
A nice place for a regular catch up after work. Happy hour beers are great value @ $5 and the menu has a good variety of meals.
Had a fantastic porterhouse steak with Diane sauce and mustard seeded mash/sreamed veg. Awesome and reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Highly recommend.
Around the corner from a mates place, we decided to have a drink after lockdown. Very nice meals and being there early for happy hour was a bonus. The house red was very good for the price, most of the usual pub suspects on tap and crafties in the fridge. Food was a little pricey but I have to remember that I'm in town (although it doesn't feel like it)
Bar staff were lovely and very understanding of masks with plenty of reminders to non-compliant patrons
