Haigh's Chocolates reviews
50Worth the queue to add some wonderful stocking fillers for Christmas Day. Quality chocolate that is hard to beat. Loved the dark chocolate freckles this year for adults and milk chocolate frogs for the children. Accurate advice on contents easy to double-check with customer service for those with dietary requirements. The 'seconds' are always my go to place to start. Yummy raspberry creams this month.
Haigh's is absolutely the best chocolate in the world - and you can watch them make it here in the factory, before going mad in the adjoining shop. Violet creams are my favourite!
The best chocolate, I really love your milk chocolate peppermint frogs, and the sparkles yummy, excellent customer service, very friendly, lots of knowledge, highly recommend this place.
Normally I love Haighs Chocolate, but I decided to try the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie, which was 5 dollars, and found to my disappointment that it was dry and tasteless, it tasted like it was past its use by date.
Fun tour of Haighs factory, staff were friendly and tour guide had a good knowledge of Haigh's history and the factory processes. Tour takes about 30min and kids enjoyed seeing the staff making the fine chocolate and kids got to taste some chocolate.
Great service today, the girl with the watch (very vague description I know) was very helpful and informative. Thanks:)
There are so many choices and we did buy a few. But first we did the tour. It doesn't go too long but was very interesting. The lady who did ours was very knowledgeable adding in detail in response to requested questions making it obvious that English accent aside, she had been around Haigh's for a while. A few samples wetted the appetite and we were into the Store/shop. Wow! I could move into there. Thoroughly recommend the tour, the shop and very strongly, the chocolate.
Fantastic South Australian icon. Friendly staff who go out of their way to find what you are looking for.
OMG, just had a taste of trial batch of dark ganache bars. I think they are the best things I've had in a long while. I'm not taking them home for my husband to try because I told him he wouldn't like them:)
Our first time and it's very beautiful and the customer service is so nice. What a beautiful place. Thanks for the very professional customer service.see you soon.
Fabulous chocolate and just lovely to stand in there and inhale! Very friendly service. They're not cheap but quality is worth it
Love Haigh’s chocolate - it’s my favourite. Not usually a fan of milk chocolate, but this is one I’ll gladly eat and the dark chocolate is the best!
Shhhhhh it's too goooood to share! All the wonderful Easter treats have arrived with gorgeous new foil colours to choose from. Haigh's chocolates will definitely INSPIRE JOY!
Just popped into the shop to buy some chocolates as gifts for friends and family. I was a bit annoyed that they didn't have any chocolates in the shapes of native animals which is what I was looking for for a foreign friend but the choccies I did get were delicious of course and very well received. Apart from that one omission, shop is well stocked, staff are friendly and helpful. They have parking too.
WOW. We popped in for a quick visit and were absolutely surprised with the respect and kindness shown too us by the team here. The chocolate is divine I did not fully appreciate how amazing a quality chocolate could taste. Watching people hand roll truffles getting to sample the different types and seeing the chocolate story presented with passion and care. Wether your interested in a tour or just a quick visit it's definitely worth going. Well done Haighs.
Was very interesting to see how the chocolate was made and where it came from. Haigh chocolate was lovely.
Chocolate wonderland.awesome quality/variety, awesome staff, excellent presentation. Highly recommend!
Loved Haighs chocolates we had a tour of the factory a very good spokesperson detailed how everything worked delicious chocolate
As soon as you walk in you can smell chocolate; it’s amazing. Free chocolate tours are interesting plus you get free chocolate. They last 30 mins.
Their chocolate tastes fantastic- can’t go past their famous frogs.
I love going to Haigh's, Parkside. Looking and buying the seconds makes my day.
Haigh's chocolate is the finest chocolate you can buy. You only need to eat a small portion and you are satisfied.
I have visited the visitors centre and had a great joy to learm about the history and how the chocolate is made. I also liked seeing how it was made. Best of all I enjoyed the tastings
