Haigh's Chocolates reviews
49Great chocolate range. Premium chocolate. Was offered a complimentary sample with purchase.
Chocolates were delicious. I am not a sweet teeth but I have purchased loads for family and friends.
When I was little I loved it I remember getting a little chocolate frog. Very good memories.
Even though I am not a sweet tooth, I love those sweet girls in the store. They serve me a little treat on the side, and I leave them with a cheeky wink after. Also love the freckles! Classic spot for the whole family with lots of history! (Winky face)
Great service and some of the best chocolate you'll ever taste! Quality is outstanding, try it out.
Haigh's make the best chocolate in Australia! Beehive Corner is worth a visit in itself as it's a beautiful building and the interior of Haigh's is a chocolate lover's dream! Highly recommend Milk Choc Aprichocs and Milk Choc Speckles.their milk choc is my fave but those who prefer dark chocolate rave about that too. Highly recommend!
I love this but i got served divorce papers in front of this building so just the sight of it brings back painful memories of my divorce
Fantastic to buy your chocolate they have different chocolate you can buy and they give you a sample if you would like to try one off there chocolate
I love haighs shops. I can always find something to please anyone in these shops and the smell is fantastic.
A decadent chocolate experience, staff are professional and caring.
The chocolate is expensive but worth for the premium taste.
If you want cheap go to the supermarket.
Haighs and this building are Adelaide icons. Packed with delicious goodies it gets so busy at peak holiday times. Staff are always lovely and the complimentary tastings are always appreciated.
Loved the chocolate collection. The prices are affordable as well. They have a good collection of gift packs at different prices.
High quality products sold here including many noviety chocolate items for each special time throughout the year
What a great experience yesterday, got served by Sofia…she was very lovely. It was nice to enter the shop with a very welcoming staff like Sofia, love her sweet smile and the way she talk to you, just excellent customer service. Keep it up!
Very busy and popular place. Bought 16 truffles of different varieties
Yummy especially at Christmas time
Refused entry and service because of no mask. Medical exemption was not acknowledged. Told I would be served outside. 5 minutes later staff comes out with a piece of paper I thought it was the price list. It was an A4 written excuse why they would not let me inside. I told the staff I had enough toilet paper at home and asked to see the price list so I could make my purchase and be on my way. Staff replied that they do not have a price list made up. So I was made to stand outside and be served, they had time to write a excuse letter but not a price list so I could complete my transaction outside where I was made to stand no problem your chocolate is expensive, bitter and inferior anyway. I will never support your business ever again and will be spreading this message far and wide.
Besides the fact that their chocolate is inferior to other chocolatiers here in Adelaide, they are rude and discriminatory to people who have medical exemptions from wearing masks.
Your new covid rules! I'm sorry I ever supported a business that now CHOOSES to refuses to serve any customer without a mask, even with an exemption.
NO cases here so WHY?
To the people complaining about the prices. HELLO IT'S CALLED BOUJIE LIVING! Great use of locally sourced sustainable produce
also a previous comment was a mask complainer. HELLO IT'S CALLED A GLOBAL PANDEMIC WEAR UR MASK XX
Quite pricey, but as we say in Indonesia, the price doesn't lie. The chocolate's really tasty, and there's a lot of types and flavours to choose from.
On a different note, the shop itself gives some sort of traditional vibe against the backdrop of the modern Adelaide cityscape. Worth taking your picture in front of it.
