Great service! Not sure the food lived up to my expectations. Bratwurst was good, but the mashed potatoes that came with it seemed to be made from a powdered mix. Pretzels were stale and had the markings of being wet at one time. Thank goodness for the beer!

The meat is great! The meat is also great! And if you haven't tried the meat.you really need to try the meat.the beer is also pretty good!

Poor service had to wait too long to get the order ready.smashed potato was off. Only positive was friendly staff.

Frustrating experience here. The staff didn’t know the menu specials and originally didn’t charge correctly until we pointed out the issue. I ordered and paid for two drinks and a bratwurst, as did our friends on the same table. Their food arrived but ours didn’t. When I asked the waiter he said he’d check- it was on the way. We waited another 30 minutes for food that didn’t arrive, so we gave up and left. The waiter was apologetic.

Nice beer and nice garden beer with Vines and sitting just outside the bar on the road is awesome during night with lights

Tasty German eats in an adorable building. Service was pretty slow and the place wasn’t very busy. Overall though a good experience and we would go back.

Food was tasty, fantastic choice of drinks, and very evocative of German vibes. Really cool place to eat when visiting Hahndorf.

UPDATE: The manager rang me back and was sorry about the food and has provided a voucher for us to try the food again.

Booked in advance as we were staying in Hahndorf for the night. Unfortunately the food wasn’t the greatest we ordered the caesar salad and wedges. The Caesar salad was drenched in salad dressing and unable eatable, the wedges were oily and a taste of old oil. Contacted the hotel to provide feedback however no response.

Good range beers Bar serving is very slow food expensive but very nice. Mostly caters for diners

Had a beast of a feast with 3 people with some good German beer on a cold Sunday morning. Love German food and this place does not disappoint! SEHR GUT!

A wonderful German Pub and dining experience that everyone enjoys. Perfect place to share the culture with visitors from interstate who will love it. Central location and a must visit place in Hahndorf

Massive food portions, very tasty, staff were a little overwhelmed on our visit bit sure that isn't the normal service.

Generous serves of German food, though a tad expensive. Front bar had the fire roaring and cold beers on tap. Not a bad place to hide away while the rest of the crew do the tourist stroll up the main street of Ham-dorf. Prost!

Great ambiance and friendly staff. Prices a bit outrageous though. $15.90 for a pint is a bit extreme.

You will be transported straight to Germany in this beautiful pub. We ordered two small (not so small) pilsners which were absolutely delicious. Worth a visit if you get to this stunning town in the Adelaide Hills.

It is a great place, with delicious top-quality German food. A warning before choosing dishes is that they come in large abundant sizes, so don't order too much until you start to waste food. Save it for their just as lovely dessert.
