Great Eastern Hotel

It’s a shame too see such a previously well managed hotel take such a decline. Simple requests such as asking for salt & pepper to being bluntly responded to “I’m to busy” then to continue arguing with the patron. The barman’s attitude to taking orders, being such an inconvenience to his job.what happened to hospitality? I can see the reason why the locals are disappearing from this hotel. Quality of food was good, unfortunately without patronage it means zero.

Omg we went on messy Monday for lunch the ribs were succulent and messy lol and a serve of wedges is huge n cooked perfectly with good friendly staff.

We went on Thursday Steak Night. Really nice steak, vegetables and gravy. Reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Will eat here again.

Mother's day. Definitely the worst steak I have ever not eaten, took it home for the dogs, my wife's was the same, we will not be back.

Very very disappointed.chicken kiev was a piece of roast chicken.pork chop put on cold jus and cold tinned/jar apple sauce with a $8 side salad that consisted of a lettuce leaf and a slice of cucumber.pork belly done 2 ways was tiny and not a crispy skin and couldn't cut through it.likened to a piece of rubber.chicken snitzel with nacho topping had some kind of avocado dip not fresh avocado.had to wait 20 minutes for a coffee and they were not overly busy.this has put me off coming back again.maybe if Bruno was there it may have been different.

Will no go back. We went for a quiet Sunday lunch and left before finishing our meals. Young lad throwing up everywhere, drunk as. The hotel did nothing about it. I thought they had to stop giving them alcohol if they're that drunk.
