Globe Medical Adelaide

There’s two parts to Globe Medical.
1. The doctors &
2. The reception staff and those who answer the phone or the front line support staff

From the time of phoning and making an appointment I am confronted by a combative, unfriendly and grumpy female. Short answers and not inviting or friendly. Enough to almost change my mind but I have been seeing a regular doctor for more than 8 years. I have highlighted these interactions with my doctor on several occasions but it seems to not resolve the problem, nothing changes. Case in point, upon arrival not even looking up from a computer screen and a short tiresome, “who are you here to see, your name”? No smile, just poor customer service.
As for the medical expertise and experience, it’s faultless.
This practice needs and warrants an office manger who understands that customers, who are patients, need to be made to feel welcomed and not an interruption to their other matters that they think are more important than serving us, those that make it possible for the practice to pay their wages.
My experience today with the doctor I saw was excellent and the doctor made me feel like he really cared about my well-being.
Hopefully the owners/shareholders of Globe sort their administration staffs poor customer service, it’s very poor and unacceptable.

I’ve been with Globe Medical for almost 7yrs and now that i have my own daughter, still doing our regular check ups and monitoring for the whole family. They have the best doctors and staff. Greatful to have the best GP - Dr Jane Allen.

Highly recommended. Open after 5 unlike many other clinics. Dr Jamieson was relaxed, personable and knowledgeable - everything you need!

Psychologists named Gina is highly attentive and well experienced. The treatment provisions really are second to none.
Reception staff friendly and efficient.

The receptionist on the phone was not welcoming at all! I called up nervous about the issue I'm having, and I felt belittled and embarrassed I had even called up.

I have been seeing Dr Jane Allen for over 15 years, she is one of the best GP’s in Adelaide. Caring, knowledgeable, open minded, respectful.honestly you couldn’t find a better GP. We have always had a great experience at Globe, the other doctors we’ve seen when Jane is unavailable have all been very nice, and thorough. The only thing we wish is that they had a lift for prams, other than that, we can’t fault them!

The staff and doctors at this clinic are very professional especially Dr Jane Allen who has taken care of me during pregnancy and after delivery. She is very polite and attentive, always having my welfare in mind. I haven’t met anyone better than her. Highly Recommended

My doctor is the best person that I can talk to about anything and he has been amazing while I am pregnant he is always there to listen and encourage me. If anyone deciding to go to globe medical centre ask for dr.clive he is an amazing doctor
