Gelatissimo Rundle St reviews
43 Lots of choices of ice-creams and gelato with cold drinks as well.
Easy outside seating on Rundle Street.
The worst customer service ever. Menulog orders are given priority over waiting customers, staff behind the counter are slow and non attentive or apologetic of the wait time. Perhaps the franchisee needs to review there business model I certainly won’t be back.
Don't bother going for the fringe fruchoc flavour. Four times I've tried to get some, four times they've "run out" and tonight I am told there's no more for Fringe. Because making more of a popular flavour would require common sense, and it appears they've "run out".
Was flavour full. Ordered three scoops and got three little ones with lots of air in the cup. It wasn't stacked as high as the photos and the base was empty so was a bit disappointed that it was almost $9 for three tiny scoops.
Nice ice creams at reasonable price.however the staff is very inexperienced and is an improvement opportunity for sure. We came 2+4 and all ordered different ice creams - staff took no notes and they were asking us 4 times what we have ordered once we left to the table.and ordered coffee served after reminder.
Ice creams - 4 stars for taste/amount/price blend
Staff - 1 star only.
Nice ice cream in a good location, at a reasonable price ($8 for 3 scoops).
Friendly staff, taste tests allowed, lots of flavours. Nice restaurant with indoor, outdoor and upstairs seating.
I particularly like the blood orange and burnt caramel and pecan flavours.
Great selection available, and taste great! Was very busy at the time but the staff done very well.
The ice cream is great. However, I got only a third of the serving size that I would usually get in Gleneleg. Even worse, my male friend got only half the size that I got even though we paid the same prize.
Gelato doesn't get much better than this. The best part is the choices are forever changing! Always something new to try.
Great range of flavours with friendly staff! Catch them when they're not busy and you're likely to taste test the whole store!
This place was great! The cookie dough and peanut butter fudge flavors are exceptional. Highly recommend.
Great ice cream everyday of the week anytime of year, also out of countless visits never had a bad experience with customer service fantastic!
Tried several flavours. Sadly all a bit artificial tasting. Perhaps partly due to them not using sugar to sweeten ice creams, they use Stevia instead. Putting the health benefits aside, if it is detrimental to the taste of the end product, then why bother?
Good ice cream and ok service. One flavour was almost liquid and the other one almost rock solid. To be fair though, it was 43 degrees out so that may have had something to do with it.
The perfect place for anyone with allergies or dietary requirement; all flavours are labelled with allergens they contain, and each flavour has a separate scoop which prevents cross contamination of allergens. Would highly recommend.
I love all the ice cream from this place! Green tea and cookies n cream are my favourite!
Yummm!
I love Gelatissimo gelati. I have special dietary needs and thank goodness they have chocolate sorbet! It's made with Stevia and has no dairy. I wish I could have non sorbets but my friends tell me Green Tea, maple syrup pancake are. I love the chocolate sorbet with either lemon, blood orange, passion fruit, strawberry or raspberry. The service has been very good.
In all the years I've been coming here, this place has been consistently pretty good. Some great flavours on offer, including the chocolate sorbet, which tastes exactly like dark chocolate. Great seating upstairs, too.
Awful music, pls just play the top 100 instead of awful frat music. Got there at 10: 30am as it says online that's when it opens and I was there waiting for an hour for them to show up and open. I love this place but it's getting overrated.
