Gelatissimo Rundle St reviews
43Do not order an iced latte here. It was lukewarm, not obvious it had any coffee in it and no ice at all. And at $8 it was even an extortionate price. Ice cream is OK.
Got served by a worker yesterday, amazing service by suggesting flavours, was unfortunate that the other 2 staff members weren't serving leaving him to serve most of us but nonetheless we will be coming back
Had genuinely the strangest experience last night at 8: 30 with friends. The two girls working looked at us and continued talking. After a few minutes of them ignoring my friend I asked them if someone is free to serve us. After this the girls working were so hostile and rude, and one stuck her finger in the ice cream she was making for my friend. They proceeded to stare us down as we crossed the street after my friends ordered. One girl looked like she was on drugs. I’ve managed a few restaurants and would be embarrassed to have those girls as the face of a business. Please train your staff in customer service, i’m confused and grossed out by their actions.
The girl who served me last Friday at around 4pm was such an absolute gem. I asked for the chocolate brownie flavour and she gave me the perfect mixture of icecream to filling ratio. Like, I love you thankyou
The Australians here in Adelaide have done it again. They took the simple and delicious gelato from Italy and made it a fabulous fantastic treat.
Yes you can get gelato anywhere in the world. But why just sample a spoonful, have it in a dish or a cone Take a fresh made waffle put two of your favorite gelato flavors on it. Add a second waffle on the top and drizzle some chocolate syrup over the top waffle then spray the top with whipped cream add a cherry now that is a delicious dessert.
Gelatissimo made fresh in store gelato and waffles breakfast lunch dinner late night snack they will definitely satisfy your craving for creamy delicious dessert. Bon appétit.
Disappointing experience with false advertising. After questioning the $10.10 cost for my ice cream, I was informed that the free cone upgrade offer was no longer applicable and that they just "hadn't got around to taking it down". The girl serving checked with the manager, and I was met with a look of disdain and dismissal.
I understand mistakes happen and it seems petty, but it was handled poorly with no attempt to resolve the issue (e.g. Honoring the advertising, swapping the cone, etc). Suggest you go to San Churro down the road instead.
Loved their icecream and their double stacked waffle! The passionfruit one is one of my favourites. Mango flavour is good too!
Very friendly staff and huge range of flavours, strawberry cheesecake and cookie dough were both delish! Thank you
Fabulous icecreams and gelatos with an extensive assortment of delicious flavours to choose from! Happy smiling wonderful staff including Nikita and Ava!
Friendly staff. Many flavours of ice cream and all tasted so good. You can either get a seat inside or in front of the ice cream parlor. It's nearby a number of eateries too. There's ample carpark near the park which is about 150m from the ice cream place.
I do enjoy the gelato flavours I get from there when I am in the area, I do wish that banana as well as Musk flavours were available though.
Great ice creams! Always worth going to. I particularly like there are lactose free options which are always very tasty!
Not a single staff member had a mask on, one staff member had the mask on his chin not covering his mouth or nose and the other female worker did not have a mask on at all. Didn't feel comfortable being served by either of them so I left the establishment. Disappointed as I do enjoy the ice-cream here normally, staff just learn to be responsible in a pandemic (especially as the people ahead of me they were serving were elderly). Will no longer be returning here, which is unfortunate
I needed time to choose the flavours because there were so many that I wanted to try! I ended up having the cheesecake one and chocolate truffle. Omg, they were so yummy! And the portion was good, it made me feel very full.
The only negative thing is that the tables outside were not clean, but I have nothing to say regarding the ice cream.
Junior needs to learn, not everyone is Australian & their language is differ. If they don't understand order can ask multiple time. Instead of quickly just serve and behave rudely for not understanding proper order & become busy with their phone.
I really have good experience & want to give 4 star. But, Couple of junior make me reduced to 2 star. I want to meet someone from staff & like to inform about her customer service, instead of just raise complain. Probably I wouldn't like to revisit if same juniors' are on shift.
I asked for the super shake and the guy gave me milkshake and charge me for super shake. I can understand that new staff have some difficulties but at least pay attention to the order next time. Thank you.
What a debacle. After repeating my order several times, two cones were served up with a miniscule amount of ice-cream. I questioned the server whether that was correct and was told I could purchase an additional scoop. There would have been 2 tablespoons per scoop. Not enough for over $5 each. Wont be back.
Iced coffee had a very nice taste with the ice cream being cappuccino ice cream, very tasy indeed, finished of with a tasty rum and rum and rasin ice cream
Asked for 2 scoops of ice cream, besides the portions being equal to one scoop (and terribly served), the girl didn’t even bother to finish her phone call, she kept on talking over the ice creams while serving. When asked if she could put more ice cream on the cone she said no and still charged 7.40, (while still on the phone). Terrible service
Rundle st Store smelt like vomit for the time we were waiting in line. We watched the 10 people in front and behind us cringe and dry reach as they waited patiently putting up with the smell. Gelato was fine. Dont go near the milkshakes.
