Frewville Foodland reviews
48What a breath of fresh air! The best supermarket in the world - hands down. Big organic food range. Lots of local produce. Interesting innovative products you can't find anywhere else. From the live music to the friendly real staff - no self-service checkouts here:) - it is a real pleasure to shop here. This is absolutely the supermarket for you if you care about what your family eats, and where it comes from.
Best supermarket I have been too. Prices are IGA ish, but the selection is by far the best. Have the salumi was great. Sitting in a supermarket enjoying fine cuts of meat with a beer watching shoppers shop. Lots of staff.
We don’t have anything like this in Melbourne!
I love that they have a wide range of local independent products but quality of fresh items is very poor recently. We first had problems with the flower bar and since the organic meat and produce. I’m owed over $50 for organic produce and meat that has been bad but they make it difficult to get reimbursed. Sadly I’ll have to find somewhere else to shop.
Best supermarket, widest range of produce and products that cater to all dietary requirements! Wonderful helpful staff and a beautiful cafe and flower shop!
Like the store, hate the stench of fish down the entire rear section. That part is not pleasant at all.
Heaps of variety big bakery section big produce section lots of organic selections big gourmet selections u will be lost on there for 1 hr or more
Great variety of fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, organic options and vegan "processed" food like cheese, sausages, frozen meals, ice-creamz etc. I like the environment and the staffs. Somethings are a bit pricey but you might find those rare products that you can't find elsewhere easily.
I have been going here whenever I'm in Adelaide. I remember going to the Frewville Foodland back in the 90's as it was my local as I lived in Myrtle Bank but now since its reopening it has to go down as one of the best supermarkets I have been to in Australia. I love it how they sell so much SA produce that is super fresh and tasty. The fruit and veg section is amazing as the range of organic products. If your a meat or deli lover your in heaven. The only negative I can say is that the staff are very hit and miss when it comes to being friendly. Maybe its management always wanting to be to polite. Where as you go to the Foodland at Mitcham and the staff are super friendly
