Fremont Park Duck Pond reviews
51On saturday mornings from 7: 30am a charity gives food and produce bread etc cup coffee and breakfast usually soup, pie, bbq friendly people and good people go there as well
A good park for this area.
Got a lot of different things for kids to do and play on. If only Freeling could keep up with the rest of S. A and have a decent playground!
Love this place.great surroundings.great walking trails.playgrounds and grassed areas.upgrading playground and bbq area at the moment.it will look great once finished
Love coming here on Saturday with Cos We Care. We feed the homeless and those in need in the Northern Suburbs from 730-9am and offer hope
Great place to go and exercise. Why pay to exercise when you can do it for free at the park and get to breathe in fresh air while doing so. A good variety of equipment to use, more equipment here to choose from than the gyms at the beach.
If your keen to exercise this is definitely the place to go, there should be more gyms like this around the city
Nice little park. The duck pond is allways a faveroute.
Its quiet common to see people trying to get rest that are homless. There friendly and we offer lunch its just sad to see that there needs to be more help for these people in this area. Prehaps an information/ leaflet box for help, councelling and or services that are available for them to acess would be nice to see.
The Fremont park duck pond, commonly referred to by it's more common name of "the 8th wonder of the world", is an exquisite example of the supreme beauty of the natural world. It's crystal clean waters flow with tranquility and nourish the surrounding Flora and fauna of Fremont park. It is truly a national treasure.
Beautiful place to go for a nice walk.
But does sometimes have some not so nice people there, I just avoid them.being a public place that can't be helped though
Great place to take ya kids and chill out in the shade whilest ya let ya kids go nuts.very good place to take a short break and have some time out local with ya kids.
I do like all the improvements it was a good park before. Now it is a great park for the whole family.
Great place to have a BBQ, feed the ducks let the kids play at playground. Not recommended after dark.
Nice park for picnic or bbq with family/ friends. Good playground and also has gym equipment for fitness
Aggressive ducks. Said they needed "money to buy bread" but when I simply gave them some bread they didn't eat it. I think they just wanted the money for cigarettes and alcohol.
The park was very busy and enjoyed family time there. There was no doggy bags which meant we could only stay a short time if other councils can provide these little bag surely Playford council can
Great to visit with family, kids or lover romantic, fun or family has BBQ's play equipment and sports equipment as well as walking and running tracks
Relaxing park with electric bbqs. Don't feed ducks bread it's not good for them. Don't go at night it's not good for you.
Good to see the ducks. Pond could be cleaned up in places. Park surrounds are a lot better now.
Lots for the kids to do between the Two parks that we go to and they are revamping the exercise equipment for the adults.
Not a bad park to walk around. Freemont park has short and long walking trails, through many trees for good protection from the sun. Well planned out area. Abundant trees everywhere and shelters for sitting and free bbq's. Has a large duck pond at one end, a rotunda at the other end, large playing oval. And good sized car parks.
Duck pond was currently being cleaned at this time.
