Fremont Park Duck Pond reviews
51 Fantastic place for a walk, bbq,
Sit read a book. Great place for kids to play. New dog parks opening soon!
Honestly such a wonderful little area of the park to take young kids, so many ducks in the water. Around the place.
Some of the railing around the pond itself needs to be fixed as some of it was falling off
Love this park. Lot of instruments for kids to play. Great place for time passing for adults as well.
The duck pond is always full of rubbish/trollies, i feel so bad for the ducks, hope to see a water clean out soon
Great for young children. A pond to feed sucks and a big interactive playground for them to run around on aswell. There are free public toilets, barbecues and basketball courts as well
Fremont Park is fabulous. There's a wonderful family playground. There are many BBQ areas there to cook on. Also shady benches and tables with the shelter above. The toilets are not too faraway from the playground. Go check the Park and see what you think. When taking children there be prepared to want to stay a while there's so much to see and do. Even there's a swing for people who are in wheel chairs. Oh there's plenty of parking spaces too.you will love fhe Park. No photos yet sorry.
Needs bit more attention for a glorifying one though a very good park and highly recommend it for all ages especially for day time get together and playing/walking etc.as at evenings some guys at times pop up who may/will be annoying to have them around.
Located at the beautiful Fremont park this duck pond whereas this pond used to have a very bad reputation in the past for the last 10 years or so it has been well looked after it has appeared clean and this has been backed by the large number of ducks that have returned every year and it is now populated by a decent amount (I haven't counted but would estimate between 70 to 100 ducks durring peak) the pond is filled via the smaller pond that has cascading water down to fill the larger pond which would be artificially filled so it never dries up it is located on the grounds of one of Adelaide's best family parklands with exersise paths, a number of playgrounds including covered sutible for toddlers and up, exersise equipment, covered searing with BBQ's massive grassed areas and walking paths bike riding and for the more hard core 5km running paths all within walking distance of the the Elizabeth City Centre shopping centre which within and the surrounding area encompasses almost everything possibly needed I would highly recommend
A bit of a drive from where we live but worth the trip if you have young ones. Interesting and inclusive play equipment including for those with disabilities. Also a nice walk around the duck pond with fountains and lots of shade make for varied activities. The icing on the cake was the ice cream van in the car park selling soft serve - the grandkids were truly impressed.
Great place to take the family for a picnic or just some time out. Great playground for the children have a BBQ. Or on your own to chill out for a while. Highly recommend.
Great playground, great duck pond, great walking trails. Parking could be bigger but otherwise it's great!
I walk Fremont park on a regular basis. The ducks and other birds are never too fussed with casual observers. Very relaxing.
Had a great time with both my niece's! They enjoyed feeding the ducks, saw little ducklings and great weather!
Lovely place to bring the family or friends for an outing. Bring some bread or chips to feed duckies. They’re so friendly. You can walk around Fremont parks trails.
Council could fix the metal post in car park sticking up out of the pavement before it hurts some one, or something if ran over,! Park is clean and has bbq, great for family outings
So peaceful. Tranquil walk.
Playground if you have young children lots of equipment to keep them busy.
A beautiful spot for family fun
The playground is awesome, it's a pity that people have thrown their rubbish all around the pond instead of putting in the bins.
Has some swings and bbq areas and toilets. There is also a wheelchair swing and a flying fox with seats
Lovely after a 2k walk around the park on our first sunny day for a week. Lovely play ground for kids as well, just been totally upgraded
