Purchased a brand new expensive couch.
When it arrived the cushions are different sizes & don’t match.
Returned to the Marion store to discuss, but they weren’t interested and point you to their web site instead.
They then took forever (several months) to investigate then their corporate office says it’s not their problem and point you to consumer affairs information with not interest in providing customer service or responsibility for their products - not the quality or customer service you would expect from a business like this, I love to recommend locals, but can not in this instance, I’d shop elsewhere.

Fantastic service. We went to another Freedom store and staff were not giving customers the time of day, so left and went to Marion. The girls there were amazing. Big thanks to Hannah for her assistance.

Been getting no response from the glynde manager Ann or returned calls and team since I reached out on the 4/11 about our order so here I am with much frustration…

Purchased Sorrento modular first week of November on the extra 25% off sale day. We ordered in store and were promised by Barb that it was in stock and we would definitely have it within a week. This obviously made our decision to buy it easier as all other shops we had been to have a long wait on lounges. We were also asked to pay in full as the item was in stock, told we would get a delivery text the following day. When I did not receive the text I called the store, I got the store manager Ann who was nothing but rude and said it’s out of her hands there was a computer error. She then said you can expect it early December, we checked our online account today and the date has been pushed back from the 16/12 till the 22/12. Ann said she would send off an email to head office to see if there was anything they can do, when I rang her to follow up she said they had not gotten back to her and said you can have a refund. We do not want a refund, we want our couch as promised. I’ve since lodged a report to CBS for misleading information. Also if the item is not in stock you are not required to make a full payment it is just a deposit, I also contacted the customer help email and they said you need to talk to the store. It’s very sad that people are so desperate for a sale they feel the need to wrongly mislead people so they can meet there targets. We are now left with no lounge and no answers. Very disappointed no one from the stores has returned our calls with an explanation.

Faulty product and very bad customer service sorting out a refund. Don't shop at Freedom. Received a rug which was water damaged and mouldy and should never have been shipped to me. Complete fiasco trying to organise a refund on multiple times with excuses every time I try. Manager telling me incorrect consumer rights laws for a refund. Just want my refund and never want to shop here again.

Amazing service! Lynette looked after us and I cannot recommend her enough. She listened and suggested certain mattresses for my situation (currently 7mos pregnant, not the easiest customer for mattresses) and Im happy she wasn't trying to upsell either, but rather looked after my needs and what would be good for me in the future. She is a big part of Freedom getting a sale from us. Cannot thank her enough, please pass this on to management:)

Regardless of store location, avoid Freedom at all costs. Their customer service is nonexistant. They were well aware of delivery delays when I made my purchase, yet failed to communicate this with me. One month before my expected delivery of my sofa I called to confirm it would arrive and they told me yes it was.
Funny because it wasn't even on the ship from China. I've been stuck without a sofa for months and the delivery has been delayed. I've had to get Consumer & Business Affairs involved but Freedom still just keep repeating the same company line of "shipping delays" despite me being within my rights to a refund (as advised by Consumer & Business Affairs). Avoid this company, don't give them a cent unless you want your furniture in the year 2045, lose sleep due to stress and to be treated awfully along the way.

Waiting months more for an order than originally scheduled, no one follows up with me, I have to ring myself. Ring multiple times and always getting different answers from different people. On top of that we wanted pick up, but it wasn’t until after we placed the order that they told us pick up was POORAKA! ‍️

Fantastic Customer Service
From the moment I walked in, the customer service was exceptional. Lucky for me, Christopher was suggested to me as I was looking to purchase a custom couch (or 2) for my home that is about to be built. Christopher was outstanding. He helped me to choose a couch and customise it tp fit my floor plan.x 2! It was never about the "sale" - Christopher was outstanding in listening to my needs, and drawing how the couch (s) would fit on my floor plan. His knowledge, both in an interior design perspective and product knowledge was exceptional. As a result I will be a long term Freedom customer.

Whenever we go shopping for home decoration or home items, we usually don't miss to check the Freedom store (more often Marion) to check the items that they got and buy from them.we have bought plenty of items in the past from them and staff members are also friendly nice and co-operative to help and guide through. On the 11 August 2020 - we went to Freedom at Marion and met the lovely lady named LISA who was helping us to find the right mattress for us. Initially, we were looking for one specific mattress which deemed that was not right for us. LISA with her guidance for the product explaining about the other type of mattress which initially we were not interested prior but found out that it was better than what we were looking for. Yeah, it was very slightly (100-200 dollars higher on price but it has very good value in return.
Thank you, LISA, for your help, patience, positiveness, and guidance to choose the product. It's not just about the sale but it is also about the impression and belief you can rely upon when shopping.once customer - forever customer not just one-time shopping only!

One of the most expensive decor/furniture shops, and I find the stock doesn't change much very often. I have a gift card to spend and have been going there periodically for the last 2 years to spend it, but can't find anything yet that I want to buy. I find even the clearance items are still expensive.

Difficult to pickup furniture. Firstly, you need to go far North. Secondly, if you are late you're punished by being made to wait 45 minutes for furniture to be picked. Their distribution supplier is outsourced. Based on this alone, I certainly recommend taking this arrangement into consideration before purchase. Of course you can avoid this buy paying for delivery.

I love shopping at Freedom Marion. The store is so well merched which makes it very easy to shop and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s always a great experience every time.

Really recommend a visit to the Marion store, Sally, Nicole and Paul went above and beyond to assist me, I modified my order and switched products multiple times and the team were really accomodating. It's refreshing to receive such good customer service. Thanks and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Beautiful designs in a well laid out store. Good specials to be found amongst well priced items too. Staff are friendly and helpful.
