Foodwood reviews
44 Beautiful goat curry. It's Indian fusion.
Samosa was light and fluffy.
Waitress was lovely.
Let us split the bill.
The food was absolutely great. If you are going to a nepalese restaurant, I think momo Platter is a must. My non nepalese friends absolutely love the Platter and told me it was one of the best food they have tired. The thakali khana was also good, but only after the Platter
I went this place with my family n I loved it we went there for dinner had momo, chowmein, n thakali it was awesome staff were friendly and vibes you get is worth it I recommend this place to everyone
Thank you for wonderful services
Excellent sums it up. What a breath of fresh air to have an easy going place with such good food. The team working there are attentive and the food comes fast. I was impressed with how the place is run.
Highly recommend.
Mouthwatering food presented with the ambient environment accompanied with awesome live music. I loved the live music very much where they play combo of instrumental Nepalese music, some Bollywood and English hit songs too. Himali Band Rocks.
We visited this place with a big hope as it has a good rating but we were very disappointed.
Firstly, The music was way too loud, the sound system was a pain to the ears.
The staff didnot clean the table for us after the table was left by the previous customers.
Momo platter was good except for steam momos. Steam momos were not fully cooked.
We also ordered butter naan and cheese naan but both of them were under cooked.
Unfortunately not coming back again.
Whilst the food tasted pretty good there were some critical points holding the food back. The chicken korma had lots of bones and cartilage in. Also there was no chutney accompanying the samosas as outlined in the menu.
I am actually disappointed given the reviews of the place.l I had way higher expectations
Food was excellent, unfortunately had to wait an hour to receive it. And curry was cold by the time the naan was brought to the table.
Unpleasant experience, but like I said…food was excellent
Memorable friday night dinner with delicious nepalese food, amazing staff service & live band.
Just had a Newari Khaja set with chicken at Foodwood - lots of different flavours in one dish, all of them fabulous, and only $25. Definitely a five star dish.
Delicious food. Great customer service. Friendly staffs.
I think everyone should try this super tasty food of foodwood.
Food was too good. I requested them medium spice, it was exactly the way we wanted, loved the flavour and taste.
We are here for dinner and the service plus food is very good. Thakali set and momo is must.we will be back soon with more friends.
Its a must try Nepali Restaurant in Adelaide.
If you went there do not forget to order the “Chatpat”, so authentic Nepali street taste.
Ambience, hospitality, food everything is 10 on 10 ️️
Went 2 times in a week with my friends and family. Food was tasty with flavour. Beautiful decoration and clean place. Helpful staffs.awesome service. Will be back again.
Having traveled, on 3 occasions, extensively in Nth Indian and Nepal, eating street food and in peoples homes, I’ve never eaten raw black beans, and split peas. In preservation of my teeth, I decided to leave the meal.
Under new management, the restaurant setup is pretty good with only one place to have live music in nepalese restaurant in adelaide. The food is yummy still need to workout on some the food as chhoila is supposed to be served cold not warm or hot but the taste was good. Momo platter is mouth watering. I wish all the best to this new management for better future. Live music is pretty cool the guitarist is the one of the best talent from Nepal. Everyone can try once and see how it goes. For me its one the best in adelaide. The picture on wall is very attractive and represent the culture and heritage of Nepal. The lights and the setup for Bar are also amazing. I would love to go there next time as well.
Don’t like to leave bad reviews but, so disappointed they bones in the chicken curry? And no warning on the menu, just enjoy the crunchy curry.
Very good customer service and wonderful food with a range of various flavours. Would definitely recommend.
Wow! I can't remember the last time I had such a friendly, humerous and kind host, plus the food was absolute top notch - every dish! Apparently their head chef has 32 years experience so no wonder it was so good! My new favourite restaurant! Highly recommend!
