Felixstow Reserve reviews
43Of course, I am biased because one of my most favourite people in the world managed this project so I know the thought that went into it. Don't bother about paying to join a gym, use their equipment and exercise in the fresh air. It's just such a beautiful place with lots of facilities. Places to be alone if solitude is your thing but lots of activities for families too.
Great place for a walk and for the kids to ride their bikes. No koalas spotted today but perhaps next time.
Nice reserve for a gatherings under large shades. With tables, toilets with baby change. Good clean bbqs and basket ball hoops. Nice bike trails for youngsters. But no playground.
Very beautiful and serene place for walk, gathering, picnic and even small parties. There are lots of options for exercise from monkey bars to stationary cycles. Beautiful ponds with Australian flora and fauna. For kids there many games options like basketball and table tennis. Clean bathroom and plenty of covered areas for barbecue
Such a beautiful reserve - has a bit of everything. We had a family BBQ using the facilities there, played some basketball and walked around the beatiful nature reserve. Beautiful open green space for play, parties and serenity as well as facilities to cater for everyone.
There is a 1km marked out track around the reserve. All the equipment was in brand new condition.
Lovely spot for a relaxing time with family and friends
This park has recently been upgraded with new paths new playgrounds and BBQs. This is a great place for a walk or to bring the kids to play in the playground.
Great place to visit lots of beautiful trees to sit under. Plenty of ducks and ducklings to watch.
Lots of ducklings in the park at the moment. Even saw a koala across the other side of the golf course this morning.
Nice place with toilets, excersise equipment and also filtered water fountains. The grass is nice and green and the place is an all around great place to go out to for a day.
I like what has been done here. There is a big open space. Some new bbq you can use, a basketball court and place to play bocce
Excellent place to spend time on your own or family
Bbq's.playground for everyone
I can only congratulate the council and all other people that have done much a lovely set up
Its amazing to run around and take pics and see DUCKS
and its easy to get to by bus since i live in marden
Best park within Payneham basketball court, table tennis with all the equipment bbq gas plus the view amazing.
Wow what a great place for a BBQ with the family. So clean! We enjoyed playing basketball and table tennis. Beautiful scenery with the trees and birds
No playground, i.e. Swings, slides etc, means there's no reason for us as parents to bring the kids. Yes there are vast open spaces, walks, nature etc for the kids to run off and explore, but there's not much else for play, and being a parent of little ones, theres a constant need to always look out for the kids as theres a lot of places where they can run off to, or get into trouble. Disappointed as there's a lot of potential here.
Beautiful park, creeks, and facilities, including plenty of BBQ areas, and toilets, playgrounds, exercise equipment, running/walking paths, creeks, ponds, ducks, etc. Very pleasant environment. Even an outdoor table tennis if you bring equipment.
Very disappointed. After being unavailable for almost two years, not a single thing to do for toddlers or younger kids i.e. No slides, swings, see-saw etc. My three year old kept screaming for slides on the very first visit but all you have got is walking trails, ponds and gym equipment.
Great new facilities and wetlands. Prior to the upgrade this was just a grassy open area. Now it has BBQ, toilet, GYM as well as playground facilities weaving in and out of the new wetlands. This place is definitely worth a stroll through if you're walking along Linear Park
Car parking is also available.
Disappointed that the waterfalls are never working!
Love the area, just hope it's looked after by all.
