Nice little reserve in the middle of the city for running, dog walking and to let your children play. Plenty of gymming facilities and a good children playground
A great park in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Walking trails along the oban bus track and ample of picnic spots to meet up with friends. Multiple Barbeque spots which can be use with in the park whilst a picnic or a small get together
A well-maintained, very functional and pleasant open space great for both casual walks and more serious fitness. The track around the perimeter is marked at certain distances so you can track your run even without a smartwatch or GPS. There are ample shaded benches good for gatherings, and the grills seem cleaned often. You definitely encounter a good amount of ibises, as promised by the park advertising, along with other birds, but there doesnt seems to be enough to cause problems to visitors. No playground on the reserve itself but the Riverside playground is just a 10 min walk away.
It's our first time here today. We found the park so relaxing with great facilities. We brought a netball to play at the courts. Unfortunately, my child fell over the rock structure built very near to the netball/basketball courts and got her legs injured. I found that the design is not safe because if you chase after a ball it's hard to realise something is behind you. Just be aware and be careful while playing at the courts. Other than that the park is beautiful.
Beautiful place to take kids for a walk, BBQ or just to enjoy the relaxing nature. The only thing that's missing is a playground.
This is a family area.there are kids and pets here.so to whoever deliberately splash engine oil on the court, FU very much

An excellent park, beautifully designed with lovely plantings, set alongside the Linear path and river.
There are covered BBQ areas, tables & benches, seated areas, a lawned area and amenities.
The reserve includes a walking/jogging track with exercise equipment dotted around the track and filtered water stations.
Enjoy a nice meander via a cultural walk with info boards and structures or sit and chill at the wetland area and listen to the frogs croak.
Well landscaped wetlands with playspace, summer shelters and open areas.
We regularly visit the park since opening. I think the selection of trees, shrubs, grasses and reeds is excellent and are now well established. The correas, lemon scented and pink gums are flowering.
A great spot along the walking trail, definitely a space to stop and rest awhile on your travels.
Beautiful area to take the family (including the 4 legged members). Basketball courts, tabletennis table, paved walking paths, playgrounds, wetlands with the river torrens just behind it.
Kids, runners and dogs will love it.
I only went there to use the rest room. Nice green lawns, BBQ area's & kids play areas. Room yo run around or lay back & do nothing.
Beautiful place for barbeque.just had fun with my work team for Christmas get together. I like the place.
Great place for a barby and family and friends, has some undercover, clean ammenities, basketball court and big oval, too much to list. Recommended for all ages AAA+
Nice green park with a great walking trail and lovely big lawns
The wetlands have interesting bird life, creaking frogs and beautiful Dragon flies glittering around
There is plenty of under cover seating for picnics and shady spots from the large gum trees.
For the fitness minded there are areas suitable for doing various exercises
I enjoy walking around this reserve but "fed up " with the dogs who aren't on a lead and cause trouble with other dogs and they run everywhere without control
Well maintained overall throughout. From the picnic areas, to the spacious fields of grass and the public toilets are kept very clean. They even have some gym equipment, a few BBQs, 1/4 basketball court, aaand a ping pong table with supplies and plenty of tables to utilize. Very nice area! Almost wish i lived closer. Lol
Beautifully maintained park, alongside the Torrens, great facilities for families & individuals. 1 Feb 20 was a glorious warm sunny day, the reserve was busy lots of people picnicking, using games equipment, bikes, scooters & skateboards on the bike path. Great friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly. The Norwood, Kensington & St Peters council is very active maintaining a number of great parks.
Beautiful wetland that is the hub for the eastern region re-use water scheme. You can walk around the wetland lakes, use the basketball ring, the exercise equipment, or even just hang out and relax on the shaded seats of benches. So much nicer than the old dead grass open space that was never used!
