FB's Fancy Burgers

I hadn’t been to Fancy Burgers for about two years after having bought a couple of burgers that I thought were mediocre - smallish patties, not much salad and lacking taste. What a difference now, though! I bought a Biggie with chips - and it was brilliant, to put it mildly. A large, tasty beef patty that was moist, bacon, cheese, egg, beetroot, lettuce, red onion, tomato, herb mayo with tomato - simply awesome. For $15, great value. Cheers!

Incredible burgers! Much better than the sad excuse for burgers served by other places. Love that it is family owned and they give back to the community.

Yum! Fresh and delicious. Exceeded my expectations. We have eaten here a number of times and never disappointed.

Nice little burger joint tucked away in Blackwood on the Main Rd. Decent choice of burgers with the choice to upgrade to a meal combo with veggie burger options and more. All sauces made fresh in house along with the burger patties, a very nice touch I must say.
Customer service was friendly and meal arrived to the table in a decent amount of time. Chips were a tad crispy but you could order to your liking, they also have a nice range of dipping sauces to compliment your fries for $1.50.
My overall experience was good and I recommend popping in to give them a try, supporting local SA business at the same time.

Do not be fooled by this little burgera joints location! Altho it is in a small town this burger packs a big punch! The meat quality is amazing and the burgers tast great, would definitely recommend and definitely come again!

So order on phone, told 25-30 mins and take my contact number. Arrive at Blackwood FB 40 minutes after order taken and told another 15 or more minutes. Only told me after I had paid so stuck. Walk in customer immediately after me told 30 mins wait for order. Really. Then the burgers are cold. Like not just not warm but cold.
Update: Prompt reply from FB who investigated problem and provided a voucher.

FB's Fancy Burgers never disappoint, I always partake each time I visit Adelaide.

This is the first time I have been to the Blackwood location. My Holy Smokes burger was amazing.

My Son also enjoyed his Mini Crispy.

A great gourmet Burger place that doesn't knock your wallet for a 6! Great choices including three great Veggie Burgers. Must try all three! As Molly would say "Do yourself a favour! " Three great SA locations, Blackwood, Black Forest, Kensington Park. Don't forget the Fancy Chips and housemade sauces!

Disappointing experience! After long time (almost 6 years) we revisited them again.
We ordered three burgers and took us 45 mins to receive them!? !? ! While we could see the stack of cooked burgers in the kitchen. I can tell that they prefer to do the take aways and uber eats rather than dine in customers.
The patty was dry and you can tell that it is not 100% meat. The fine grind mixed with herbs was cooked and stacked for a long time. The taste of burgers were not consistent. They became mass production rather that fresh hand craft burgers.
The chips and tomato relish were pretty good.

Bit pricy but they do offer GF option buns and for me and its only $1 extra so works out to be how much I would pay for GF options elsewhere. And They taste awesome!

Let me start off by saying the service is pretty good, the steak sandwich was pretty good and the fries were really nice (maybe a little on the expensive side but still good). The only let down is the burgers. The patty I had was full of herbs and spices but tasted a little like a pre made Coles burger patty. Maybe it’s just my tastes, I prefer the Nordburger style of seasoned patty with very little added to it so it relies on the meat being reasonably high grade and cooked perfectly.

My hubby, myself and the 2 grandchildren thought we would try this Fancy burger place as we were told it was good.we all had different burgers, the chicken one was dry as a drought and the beef meat in the other burgers had absolutely no flavour. We tried them, but won't be back

I rode from noarlunga downs to Blackwood for a fancy burger for lunch, best meal I have had all week, well worth the time and the effort.

Food is ok, but interior is looking very shabby & on need of major cleaning, not at all inviting.

Idc if you're not even vegetarian get the hills harvest burger, nothing yummier has graced my taste buds in god knows how long I'd have it everyday if I could plus quick service

First time visiting this place, had the BBQ Cheeseburger and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. The sweet potato chips were THE best I've ever had. Will certainly go back for more:)

Excellent burgers. Recommend the chips too (cooked right and nice salting) our kids loved the cheeseburger excellent flavour

Not quite sure how this place gets such good reviews. The interior is grubby, my burger was dry and lacked any flavour, my boy had a chicken burger which was drowning in peanut butter, seriously awful!

Great service, great burgers and a nice style to this place. Fries were a little oversalted. If you're looking for a good burger, look no further.
