Fat Chicken

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Rudest staff & owner I have ever encountered. How are they still in business? Don’t waste your money here.

Burgers are much better than they were a year ago but they close the grill 45 minutes before closing time. Which is pretty lazy tbh. They just want to leave early

Great burgers. But always close the grill too early. Almost 50 minutes before close time! Also heard the young bloke working there complaining about customer's. Keep it to yourself.

A quick lunch before the airport journey. Got myself a butter fish with chips and an extra butterfish alone. I didn't have the chips yet the butter fish was very good with a golden crispy batter. Very good succulent fish, a good treat!

Good service, friendly staff. However they have changed their chips to thin chips, which is really sad! They were my top rated in Adelaide, I was really disappointed.

The fat chicken is the best place, their food is just so beautiful, the CHIPS to die for, a very clean place, the staff always polite

I won't go here again. The staff are so rude, in particular the owner John. Not to mention the chicken burger I got tasted sour as if it was old meat. But hey if you hate gay people, like the owner does and you love sour old chicken, this is the place for you.

Good value for $ for the 3 X small salads. Been trying out them for almost 2 years. I recommend pasta, seafood and greek.

Needs to cut down the oil on chicken pasta.

Great chicken pack I had. Chicken was sweet and juicy, peas and carrots on the money, gravy devine and the chips prefect for a chicken pack. Timely friendly service and good sized feed.

Staff are a bit arrogant and service is too slow. This place used to be pretty good but I think in recent years it's going downhill. 8 years ago used to have best chips I'm Adelaide now can't even get chips in under 10 mins

Good range of food. Schnitzel hot pack and salad pack are nice and tasty. They may be a bit too big for average sized women. Each pack could feed me twice.

Hands down they do the best potato chips in Adelaide. Crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Don't need salt as they taste great. They also use vegetable oil to cook with.

Been getting great fish and chips here for years. The staff are awesome. The other day I dropped my wallet just outside their shop after getting food. John (owner?) found the wallet and dropped it off to my house while we were eating. Legend! Such great service.

6.15 pm, order 1 chicken and chips. Sit down for 10 minutes to wait. Number is called, I'm thinking my order is ready but no, they just wanted to tell me they had run out of chickens. Was offered schnitzels instead. Didn't have time to go elsewhere so agreed. Waited another 15 minutes for them. Absolutely ridiculous.

The best fish and chip & salad selection I've3 ever come across, it's why they get so many customers, they reduce the prices during the lunch rush - 12 noon to 2pm on fish and chips, the prices are good, you will get what you're paying for, I highly recommend "Fat Chicken"

Had the large AB. Portion size was good, taste was was pretty average. Definitely a lot of better AB places put there.
