Eros Kafe

Pretty average. Why is it so hard to find good Greek cuisine in Adelaide?
The lamb off the spit was NOT lamb freshly cut off a larger piece of lamb sizzling over hot charcoal as the menu item might suggest. It was lukewarm hard & grisly meat. The other dishes we had were average.
Also had to repeat my order to the waitress 3 times and she got one of the items wrong when it came out.

Disappointing dinner last night. Have always loved the food over the last many years, but last night was a dud. The chargrilled octopus was way overcooked and very difficult to cut, let alone chew. And the lamb cutlets, which were sliced about as thin as you can get without becoming transparent were also overcooked, very dry and very chewy. They were advertised on the menu as being served medium rare. The roast potatoes which accompanied the cutlets were roasted on the outside but rock hard in the middle. Will give Eros one more try in case it was just a bad night, but if still the same, not going back.

Eros is a big part of the Rundle, Street vibe. For decades they've consistently delivered.

Good tasty food, but for the price, only three stars. Lamb and squid overcooked. Service was a little slow. Recommend bookings as very popular nonetheless.

Had our work Christmas lunch at Eros last week. Fantastic atmosphere and the food was on point, even amidst the Adelaide CBD blackout. 10/10 would recommend!

Always bring interstate friends here - food and service is high quality. So lucky yesterday, Sat.they fitted us in without a booking last minute too. Highly recommend Eros Kafe!

Very disappointed with both the food and the service. Staff were completely uninterested in accommodating. They were very dismissive and aloof - didn’t even check up on us, and didn’t even offer to clear our table even after we sat there for at least 20 minutes. The food was just as disappointing. The food portions were unacceptable for the price - I paid $30 for a plate with a few tiny prawns and some rice and a few leaves - which they call a “salad”. The quality of the food does not equate to the prices. The food is nothing special - go to any other Greek restaurant and you will get a delicious selection of food - not here though.

Delicious food and great service overall, but potato was too salty. Very friendly service. Would come back and try more dishes.

There were some issues with attention to detail with staff. But Philip stood out from the lot. Gave advice for the best dessert I've had in a long time. Was extremely well mannered and thorough and the kitchen did a great job. Good to see this business still carries class after a number of years running.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, amazing pita bread and a great vegan menu too! I love it.

Friendly staff, great service. I had the char grilled octopus which was amazing, also good selection of local and Greek beers. We'll be back again for sure.

They forgot our booking unfortunately but it didn't matter, they found us a table and the food and drinks were DIVINE! Thanks guys!

Would definitely come back here! The food is delicious, the ambiance is very warm and friendly and the service is really great. All the servers we met were very polite, friendly and helpful. There's also a vegan menu and some really great vegetarian options too. Great place to bring a date. Try the potatoes, they're amazing!

This place is the only reason i liked adelaide, possibly the worst city is australia by far but the food here dominates sydney and melbourne greek restaurants, the lamb ribs were to die for! Friendly staff and fast, if my partner and i were ever to return to adelaide this would be the first and last place id be

Always such a beautiful selection. The kefalograviera cheese is always a favorites of mine which I never skip! Simply the best Greek around.

Always consistently tasty greek food.
The atmosphere during the Finge adds to the social atmosphere.
Waiting staff run off their feet but polite attentive and efficient.

My scroll 'spanikofta? ' I can purchase at my local foodland for $3 yet you charged $18 with a tiny side salad.

Food is sensational. My friend and I wanted something good to eat to fill us up but not stuff us, so we checked out Eros cafe and my god. The food cooked to perfection and the right portions. Best way to try bit of everything is not to get a massive main meal but to get small share plates that way you get massive variety and lots of different flavours

I’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner a few times. The service is a little slow. The food is ok, not that tasty in my humble opinion. The souvlaki was salty and the moussaka was a little bland for my taste.
You’re left feeling that there wasn’t much food, especially considering the price of each meal. Wish I could rate higher as Rundle St could use a good Greek place.
