Thank you for a lovely evening, and the wonderful food, of which we ordered far too much)

We also appreciated the lovely treat of mastika to wrap up our night, thank you for paying attention and knowing it was a special event for Lisa and me.

I'll be recommending Eros to anyone wanting a great Greek dining experience in Adelaide.

Don’t bother booking!
We booked a table outside as it was a nice night and we wanted to enjoy the fresh air and nice atmosphere. When we got there we were told they had “overbooked” and they no longer had any outside tables. No apology or remedy offered. We sat inside and had our orders taken by a polite but very disinterested young waitress. The food came out quickly and was very small and overpriced. I paid almost $8 for 4 tiny pieces of bread with some olive oil, and almost $30 for an entree serve of octopus and brocollini.
Different waiters approached and cleaned the table with no acknowledgement or check ins at any time. All seemed almost bored.
At the end when asked how everything was, we mentioned it would have been better if we had sat outside. Our first waitress seemed unbothered and didn’t respond. The older waitress said “we should have moved you” and left it at that.
Very disappointed by the poor service and extremely overpriced tiny portions. This place seems to rely on its location and doesn’t really care about retaining customers.

We recently visited Eros Cafe on Rundle Street for lunch on the spare of the moment. The Service is attentive, polite and friendly, and the atmosphere
very pleasant and inviting.
We dined on the lamb cutlets and lamb ribs they both were absolutely mouth-watering and tender. One of the best lamb cutlets I have ever had.

This place has dropped off! The meat was chewy and the pitta was defrosted and microwaved as it was hard as a rock, not soft and fluffy like it should be! Totally overpriced too! Very dark and uninviting aswell.

Staff amazing and nice but couldn't cover for fatty meatless lamb ribs thst meat wasn't fresh. Yes lamb ribs are somewhat fatty but this was way too fatty swimming in oil and lacked mest on most ribs. Disappointing

Came in last Friday night with my family and had an amazing time. Food was sensational but the highlight of the night was the wonderful stuff. Our waitress Stella was highly attentive as was her colleague Phil with his wine expertise. Can’t recommend this place enough for an authentic Greek experience!

Delicious food and great service. Plenty of options for main meals, or small share plates to graze across the great range of flavours. Highly recommend the Tiri Saganaki, Kroketes, beetroot salad. Pretty much everything we tried. Great place to eat!

5/5 stars for this place but we would happily give it more if we could. From booking in early off the street being such a breeze to when we sat down. From our main staff member Tammy who was was so polite, friendly and accommodating to their other staff, who served us - Eleni and Angus who were so helpful and knowledgeable. It made our whole experience absolutely delightful. The food was perfect. Everything was served on time and all meals were reasonably priced. Best dinner out in a long time. Can never fault this cafe. Thanks Eros and all it’s staff!

Inconsistent food! Previous dinners were good, but last weekend, food was disappointing. Meze portions were tiny: grilled chicken was 2 tiny pieces and the Louganika was cut so thinly some pieces were burnt.
Have always loved their fresh cooked chips in feta but, this time, it was just frozen chips fried up. Not their usual fresh lovely chips standard. Salt and pepper calamari was tiny slivers of chewy texture, and the Mousakka was a dry gelatinous concoction, probably not re-heated long enough.

Still, the service is always prompt and efficient and great vibes sitting alfresco.

Perhaps next visit, the food will resume its high standards!

Quality food good vibe Best service.
One of the top restaurant in Adelaide I guess.
If anyone wants to have food, just pop in order anything.
I haven't tried everything, but I am sure everything will be great.
Must try.
And you will he happy with their service.

News Years Eve and we hadn’t booked a table. Though it was so busy the friendly staff found us a table. Lucky us. Considering how under the pump the restaurant was, food and service was amazing.

AUTHENTIC & AMAZING - we are visiting from Sydney and Eros would have to be one of the best Greek restaurants we have visited anywhere and there have been many! The staff were very friendly and sincere including the 3 generations that we had the pleasure of meeting in this amazing family run restaurant - it’s not a wonder it’s so popular. Thank you to Joy and Betty in particular for their kindness in providing a plethora of tourist guidance too! Regards, Joe, Diana and Luke

I thought that Eros cafe had coffee but little did l know that l waited for 20 minutes for a freddo espresso then waited for another 10 minutes to tell us that they can't fix a freddo cappuccino. I love Oakleigh. Zito Oakleigh.

An absolute treasure in Adelaide's East End. A random find only a short walk from our accommodation at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We were welcomed in on a busy Thursday night and seated quickly despite not having a booking. The food and service was amazing and I actually mentioned to the owners on two occasions that the staff looked so happy. The owner replied "how could we not be happy when you have come to eat our food". You can tell this is a family run business with a lot of love and pride invested in it. It was an absolute pleasure to dine in this delightful Greek restaurant which sums up the friendly nature of Adelaide. We will definitely be back.

Me and my wife had dinner at the Eros Cafe on Friday night.
For entree, we ordered Garithes souvlaki.
The dish was very tasty, but paying $25.90 for an entree, is just too expensive, for what you are actually served.
We ordered 2 main meals.
1. Pastitsio for $34.90. This meal was very nice and we liked it.
2. Arni Sti Souvla for $35.90.
This dish was supposed to be Spit roasted lamb shoulder. It was anything but that. It looked like the lamb you get from a yeeros shop.
Small, tiny, dry little pieces of lamb, with a few pieces of pita bread, and a little bit of tzatziki. That’s it.
Now if we wanted a yeeros, we would have gone to a kebab shop, and not to this restaurant.
We left the restaurant extremely disappointed, with both the lamb dish that we got served, and with the exceptionally high prices they charge.
And another thing to mention, my wife had a stomach ache after leaving the restaurant, until the next morning, probably from the lamb pieces that we were served.
Needless to say, we will not be going to this restaurant ever again.

Always great to pop in when in Rundle St to Eros. Casual and good Greek food and Greek desserts with a coffee or hot chocolate.

My partner and I absolutely love this restaurant! Amazing food, great service and you’re never left waiting too long for your food. It is a bit pricy but the food is worth it! If you’re looking for Greek cuisine this is the place to go!

We only had drinks here in the afternoon. The waiter was very polite and friendly, clean dining room and the food we did see and smell coming out looked amazing.
