Was here for a work Christmas party I really liked most of the finger food that came out. Sharing drinks and nibbles with all my friends and colleagues. I think we all had a good time!

Refused to serve us food on a Friday night at 8.25pm because "they were too busy" we unfortunately had a few people who had been having Christmas drinks and desperately needed some food to accommodate the food we had drunken. Feels irresponsible.
Bar staff were lovely about the situation.

To make matters worse, food is continuously passing us as we write this review. Again, bar staff lovely. Very disgusted at the refusal of service.

Food great music a little loud over dinner but it is live great Saxophone player was a little bit disappointed that we had to ask for the tab8 to be wiped down as it was sticky but overall would come again

Went here after a dinner, was charged $10 entry which already felt wrong just looking from the outside. Sadly as we came in, it proved that they were just charging people entry fee, because they knew they could.
The $10 doesn’t seem like much, but when there is literally nothing provided for that $10 in a place that’s completely empty, I think that’s ridiculous.
When I said to the people at the front upon leaving, that I thought charging $10 entry was ridiculous, they obviously didn’t really care, took the matter really unprofessionally and as you would pretty much expect and said “tell someone who cares”.
I bought a beer, who knows how much that cost, and a cocktail for my partner that was about $22/150mL.
Ridiculously prices, terrible staff, terrible vibe.
The place is obviously dying and it complete deserves too.
Hope that wasn’t too over the top, that place really ticked me off.

We had our surprise wedding at this venue on 25.03.2023.
Leading up to our special event, Stephen was fantastic with communication, information and fast responses.
Stephen listened to our needs and also gave suggestions on what would work for our event.

We chose canape's and a table spread as sit down was too formal for what we wanted.

On the night everything was set up, organised and clean.
All our guests feedback was that the food was delicious and fresh.

All waitresses were polite and made the rounds of the room to ensure all guests were fed.

We had one room where the DJ/celebrant was and then utilised the other room as a quiet room with a slide show of the bride and groom and light music for those who needed a moment or parents settling young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our event here, lift up to the 2nd floor, balconies to use and everything ran smoothly.

Thankyou Stephen and his team for creating a memory of our surprise wedding that we will cherish forever.

Well worth a visit but poor acoustics in the main indoor bar area means you need to yell to talk even when it's relatively quiet.

Nice food. Not guests fault if you don't have the staff. Bar staff did fantastic job by himself

Is ok with good atmosphere. Not too impressed with bar tho. This is an upmarket venue but never seem to have Drambouie. Ordered a Chivax Regal instead. But it definitely was not Chivas. I know my whiskey.

Super slow disorganised service. Highly do not recommend.

We arrived with a group and ordered around 6: 30pm. Other than our group it wasn’t overly busy. At 7: 30 food finally started to come out - however they had no idea which tables the food was for, there were massive waits between each persons food coming out. Some people had finished eating by the time other dishes came out, staff were unsure who in the area had ordered 3 dishes (2 steaks and a squid), they just left the steaks on a relatively empty table for someone to figure out and took the squid back to the kitchen… they lost 2 of our drink orders.at 8pm with no warning we were advised we had to move as they were going to move the tables to create a dance floor. At this point some members of our group had only just received their meals or were still waiting!

The prices and food options seem to indicate “restaurant” however the music was far too loud, you had to yell to hear the person across from you (and no, we were all younger with no hearing problems). If you’re intending to be a club that’s fine - but make it clear. Don’t make your guests spend $$ and then kick them out of their seats after you’ve already made them wait 1.5hrs for food.

Everyone did agree the food was lovely - but definitely not worth the experience.

We startes with a tasty cocktail and the dishes are really surprised us, we highly recommend the barramundi and the lamb. The stuff here is very nice and friendly. <3

Wonderful place for a private function. The finger food was ropmclass, drinks not too bad for a city establishment, but good staff and a fun easy nights

Attentive service & the food was scrumptious. Steak was tender & the salad was fresh & plentiful.

Amazing staff and atmosphere.
The waitress we had was absolutely wonderful. Best waitress we have ever had. She even asked my children how their meal was.
Definitely recommend Electra house.

Great place for a quick lunch in the city. The “bar” on the ground floor is a pleasant, light area with the very high ceilings and huge windows of a bygone era.

Food was much better than we expected. Service with a smile was polite, friendly and helpful.

Impressed with the beef burger which was slightly pink in the centre as befits a gourmet burger and juicy, but without juices leaking messily everywhere. Fried chicken and chips were superbly deep fried leaving not a speck of oil on the greaseproof paper lining the serving basket.

The atmosphere is really good. The staffs are friendly and good service. The environment is clean. The food was awesome, especially the steak, the chef cooked it perfectly. (need more jus on it or ask for extra jus)

I recommend Electra house for all types of events. It's has its own unique vibe and entertains well. You'll be very pleased with the outcome.

Waited almost an hour (non busy day) for overcooked food (steak that is like a shoe to cut through), drinks tasted awful, waiter was rude, never going back

Sophisticated, elegant place for a corporate feed of some casual drinks. Great staff, highly recommend, but accept the price tag is worthy of the venue and location.

I went there first time last night for family gathering, food was very nice and most staff are very friendly accept 1. One man who seem to dress as a chef came and switched off the light while we're still eating and moment later he's pretend to carried a few drinks around our table which is not our order so that he can look at our table weirdly and walked away, he does it for a couple time more and we're start to get impression that he's tried to make us leave after we done eating so we left and it will be our last time going there. I found it quite rude.
