23My daughter has been using EBL services since the early 1990s, I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of services we received over the years. More importantly, I always feel safe when my daughter is in EBL's care. This is very important to me as a parent. EBL should be a model for all service providers in disability. It is an organisation with a big heart.
Respite services at yarnbrook, nasty, bossy staff, new support workers treated unfairly, clients are gossipped about.
As a staff member I can say that my role as a Support Worker is both rewarding and satisfying. EBL Disability Services is a wonderful organisation to work for. The clients are excellant and the company is not top-heavy, meaning more staff are put on the floor for better support. My house manager is very supportive and never micromanage. There exist an atmosphere of fairness inside the company; an example of that, both the company staff and agency workers receive gift cards of substantial amount during Christmas time from the CEO.
