East Borough Eatery reviews
67Great open atmosphere. The menu had interesting options that came out perfectly cooked. Definitely a great place for brunch that provides a variety of options. Although my iced chai was forgotten, once pointed out staff handled it with genuine concern and care. I would definitely return the staff and service here are fantastic!
Delicious, I asked the Chef to pick a dish for me and what came out exceeded my expectations. Roast pumpkin on sour dough with hummus, rocket and sweet potato chips. Highly recommend and just a short trip south of the city!
I’ve been here many times - the coffee and food are consistently excellent. These guys know what they’re doing!
Friendly staff who are attentive and very accommodating. Easily one of the best smashed avo’s I’ve had. Highly recommend!
Ordered a flat white received a latte (not a major problem), was told upon seating there would be a 30 minute wait for food so we ordered instantly, waited 60 minutes for our table order to come, which put us in a rush to eat our food. Quality of food was not worth the long wait. Ordered bacon and eggs with mushrooms, mushrooms cooked with pesto that was not mentioned by waiters or on menu. Came with two rolled up pieces of bacon that tasted like rubber. $25+ for a 60 minute wait for food that I could have made at home for $5. Will not be returning
Simple, hearty, fresh and tasty food!
Wonderful coffee, beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff!
That’s all you need to start your weekend with an amazing brunch.
Good verity of choices for brunch and nice selection of freshly squeezed juices.

The owners of East Borough are such a beautiful couple. Always friendly, great staff, amazing food with options for all including vegetarians and vegans. I come here every week to eat, drink coffee and buy my coffee beans
Amazing food, coffee and service.
Pictured below is one of their French toast specials, and it tasted even better than it looked. For only $18, we were really impressed with the quantity and quality of ingredients on our plate. We will be returning!
Easy Borough has consistently delivered friendly service, quality coffee and amazing food time after time.
Always a safe bet for a meal!
Extremely long waiting times and very loud with bad acostics. Unfriendly service. Do NOT recommend.
Some of the best coffee I've ever had in Adelaide. The food is always fresh and tasty, service is always friendly and prompt. The corn and zucchini fritters with poached egg is soooo good. Located conveniently in the south-eastern suburbs near the very popular Frewville Foodland supermarket, usually enough off-street parking available nearby. Love it, probably my favourite breakfast spot outside of the CBD!
This place is good for a get together or meeting food very good coffe tops service and great desserts heaps of room
Exceptional service and food. Everything on the menu is very good and the staff just complete the experience.
Food was good! Staffs were lovely. They can get busy really quickly so I suggest coming in early:) had eggs benedicts
Nice building and atmosphere, coffee is great however I don't like the hipster movement avdancing into cafes
We love this place. Always busy with great food and coffee. The owner always runs the show well, and takes the time to chat to his customers. Highly recommended
Food is really nice, I would have given 5 if the glasses weren't a bit smelly but will definitely come back
The food on offer is delicious. I order the sticky date pancakes and was extremely impressed. The presentation of the pancakes was second to none and the flavour was outstanding.
The coffee was well made and of a high standard.
The staff were very accommodating especially with young children.
It is a highly recommended cafe and very reasonably priced.
Good food. I had the pumpkin tahini on rye with pancetta, broccolini, eggs and dukkah. Service was fast. Would go again.
Wonderful breakfast! We had a late booking for 7 and Paul made it a reality when they were quite booked already. Great service, beautiful presentation of food and delicious all round! Definitely coming back, thanks for making our Sunday family breakfast awesome!
