"Definitely coming back – unexpectedly discovered this hidden gem for brunch. Brought my parents here, and the owner and staff were friendly, providing excellent service. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, EBE waffles, and Smoked Salmon Bruschetta. The sourdough was perfectly toasted, crispy on the outside with a soft interior. The poached eggs were cooked just right, and my mom loved this dish the most!

My personal favorite was their waffles, with a bit croissant-like texture. The combination of strawberries, bananas, maple caramel, and vanilla ice cream was delicious, and the presentation was exquisite.

We also tried the Flat White, Mocha, and Cappuccino – all rich and deserving of high praise.

The whole atmosphere of the place exudes a relaxed and chic vibe. Whether it's a weekday or weekend, if you're looking for a leisurely breakfast, this is an excellent choice. "

Food was average, very small serving sizes. Complelety understaffed. Really wanted this place to be awesome, disappointed and won't return again.

My partner and I came for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. I cannot recommend this cafe/restaurant enough! The service is always 10/10! The food is always 10/10! We felt VERY special and looked after. We ordered oysters (so fresh!), steak (very juicy!) and the coconut cream chicken (perfect combination of flavours). I have also been coming here everyday for my daily coffee fix for the past 6 months - it’s the best coffee I have ever had! The venue is beautifully decked out with plants and has a very calming feel to it. If you’re looking for great coffee, food, and service in a popular suburb, this is the place to go!

Bought a Groupon deal for lunch and it was a steal. I would be happily pay full price for the food and the drinks as it’s delicious and fresh. The only confusing thing was the waiter didn’t know what was included in the Groupon deal and we had to double check why the menu didn’t match the deal. The waiter was also confused about which drinks were included in the deal. We were also not offered table water which was a bit of surprise. The service can definitely be improved. I guess the lack of customers has made this beautiful cafe fairly empty and quiet which is a bit of a shame considering their food is fantastic.

Food was outstanding as was the coffee.
We did pre warn them however that we were a big group and it took almost two hours to get breakfast. This is not intended to be a swipe at the staff as they were apologetic. Just some constructive feedback. We will be back just not with such a large group next time.

Went there for brunch today and can confidently say hands down the BEST falafel! Not to mention friendly staff and chilled atmosphere 10/10 highly recommend

One of the warmest, most wholesome and delicious dining experiences I've yet had! The staff welcomed us like we were old friends, and this was followed by the quickest service. It was almost impossible to choose from the wide variety on the rich and diverse menu, especially the entrees, but we settled upon falafels and potato bravas. I could not commend their falafels more highly, the crispy coating and the moist filling was divine! Somehow, the talented chefs were able to match that with my immaculately presented sumac quinoa with roasted vegetables. I have never tasted pumpkin that good before!
The cherry on top as it was the creme Catalina, a lovely decadent treat to fill even the sweetest tooth. They cannot improve and I think everyone must try their dinner menu, those who haven't are sorely missing out!

Exceptional service at this beautiful restaurant! The food was amazing, I enjoyed the taste along with the calming atmosphere of the venue. The customer service was phenomenal, I highly recommend visiting for dinner!

Excellent coffee. Prompt and friendly service. Wonderful food. Everyone at our table was delighted with their food. Corn fritters, waffles and fresh juices were a real highlight.

Second time here and Haiya and Sudeep (I hope I spelt your names right) have been phenomenal - so patient with us and our two young children. Food is amazing and the place has an amazing vibe. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Thanks again!

Had the most lovely time at East Borough. Booked an events package for a large group and had a two-course meal with drinks for an affordable price, and was able to select my own set menu as opposed to places that do a "feed me" option. Maddie our server was simply amazing in handling our big group and very accommodating, Con and Mina were great host, and Peter was very prompt in responding and very helpful when booking. Place was beautiful, decor was simply gorgeous and made for great photos.
I had a wonderful time, thanks to the East Borough team. Would definitely recommend if you're considering a party or event.

Most delicious brunch dishes. The Corn fritters being one of my absolute favourites, and the atmosphere is so inviting. You definitely need to check this cafe out if you haven’t already!
