While the food was a little slow coming out, it was all very delicious. We had a great lunch for 8 on a Saturday afternoon. Highly reccommend.

Haven’t eaten here yet, but it’s dimly lit, dark wood, & good range beers on tap - exactly what you want in a good, local front bar.

We had our end of year Christmas celebration. Everyone loved the food, the private room and bar was excellent for our 40 guests.

We laughed at the absolute shambles here during a Sunday lunch. No one met us at the door. We then got in a long cue at the bar to ask about seating.the blond looked at us as if we were from another planet. Consequently the 4 of us walked out.

Very disappointed with the tough schnitzels we have had. 5 out of the 6 of us had the beef and all were tough as. We definitely will not be coming back.

A few of us had the pork cutlet on Sunday night and it was fantastic: cooked perfectly, succulent and juicy served with really tasty sides - we all highly recommend it!

The only place I have found in Australia that knows how to do a quality scotch egg. Also has a proper old school pub vibe. Unmissable in my opinion.

Overrated.
1. The food is expensive compared to others. E.g $14 for a kid pizza and $5 for a can of coke. Smaller portion of main meals. Plus surcharge for cake service per person.
2. Poor customer service. We are customers so please speak to us nicely. Especially from the manager/boss.
Thank you.

Have lunch here occasionally with a large group. Foods is good, service is excellent, and the venue is great.

Great pub, great selection of beers, fantastic food at a fair price, wonderful atmosphere and good service. The only downside was the music was too loud in the front bar for a table of 5 to be able to talk. You could only talk to the person directly next to you.

Went there to try the English foods. Scotch Egg was good, sausage and mash for mains also good. The sausages reminded me of the pappy Walls ones from UK supermarkets. Also had Fullers beer on tap. Will most likely visit again

I queried my change to realise the (non imperial) so called pint of Asahi had cost me $13. The barman admitted that is embarrassing and apologised for the price. I know times have been tough with Covid, but $13 for less than 500mls - you've got to be kidding - its a good beer - but its not that good! Shame on u Earl.
Yes I cld do all those things u suggest but then you cld also sell me an Asahi on tap for a reasonable profit margin. How about you put your prices over the tap - when the bar person is busy I don't wish to be pesky and keep asking how much each pint is! Stop dodging the issue and sell it at a reasonable price!

Their Sunday roast specials are some of the best I've tried - especially the roast pork. Great portion size and plenty of delicious gravy. Fast service and friendly staff make it even better.

Haven't been here in years (used to be regulars) and thought we would try it with the kids for the first time.

Nice atmosphere but quite noisy (and wasn't even full). Were shown to our table which we made a booking for and immediately noticed that not everyone had been allocated cutlery. Figured someone would notice and bring some but no one did until I had to ask for some after the meals were delivered.

Food was nice though I would consider servings small for the price (note that this is compared to other pub/hotels in the area). Kids meal deal is good value if the kids want a drink and dessert. The activity pack wasn't worth the $2 price tag but as it came with the meal deal and I did not pay extra for it, it was adequate.

The first thing I noticed was the lack of sour cream on my schnitzel.about a heaped teaspoon worth, which for a 350g schnitzel. Considering it was an additional $6.50 for the topping of bacon, sweet chilli, cheese and sour cream, I feel that they could afford to be a bit more generous with the sour cream.

Secondly, the first chip I picked up was uncooked.still firm and partly frozen which I only realised as I took my first bite. The rest were cooked nicely with a crispy batter so I'm thinking it was a mistake and one of the chips had simply not made it into the fryer.

Thirdly I thought it strange that to get any beverage, you have to get served at the front bar. So you can't even order drinks when you order your meal and have to walk to the front bar to get served.

Fourthly, between not giving us enough cutlery for the table and forgetting to give us the kids activity books and having to go to the bar to order drinks, it made the meal challenging. I was there with 3 children without my partner and having to constantly get up and walk to the order counter because of little things that should have not been an issue made the meal more stressful and challenging even though the issues were small.

However the food is tasty and well cooked and presented and the staff are friendly even if they aren't as attentive as they should be. The atmosphere is pleasant and if we were in the area, we would come back and hope for a better experience. At least the kids enjoyed it and that's saying something.
P.s. The chocolate brownie is pretty good - probably earned the 3rd star all on its own.

Generous meal sizes and friendly staff. Had my parents Anniversary there and they helped us out with serving the cake and adding sparklers. Schnitzels were delicious.

Fantastic. Service, food and drinks were without fault. A hidden gem just outside the CBD. Perfect for a groups or just couples. Highly recommended.

Went to the earl of Leicester last night and ordered the large schnitzel. Was charged 50 dollars for a fried piece of chicken and one beer and left hungry.it was probably a third of the size it was last time i ate there, smaller than the little schnitzel used to be, daylight robbery.very sad as i used to love that place, wont be going back

Incredible! The food was incredible (the sage and cauliflower croquettes were out of this world) and the staff friendly. We'll be back!
