Dosa Plaza Mawson Lakes reviews
83 Started was good but main course was wrost. We ordered dal tadka they give sweet dal has no taste, we talk with chef they said it's standard taste of our restaurant. Now talking about masoor masala dosa inside the dosa they put cucumber salad no masoor masala, talk with chef they guys don't know what's massor masala. Service is wrost and no apologies for that guys don't waste money there.
Prices are high compare with similar kind of restaurants.compare to this price there are
Money other restaurants good and good service.
We use to go there every week but feel like they always serve bigger group first even you sitting there from last 40 minutes, very unprofessional and pathetic customer service, definitely not going back.
Customer service very bad. The front girls got attitude problems. I used to go every week but not anymore.
Best place to eat dosa. One of the best place with great authentic taste. Definitely worth going.
Very poor service. Always has to wait for more than an hour for food to come. Staff will simply ignores you if you ask for anything.
Tasteless and cold Samosas. Poor customer service.that girl didn't provide cutlery for Dosas. Sambar was like spicy water.food was unnecessary oily.unnecessary high price which is not worth at all. We will never go again. If you will not improve your food quality and drop your price then you can loose your customers.its my advise for you.
Very poor service. Always has to wait for more than an hour for food to come. Staff will simply ignores you if you ask for anything. They are going down hill with the services.
The place to go when you need Pure Vegetarian and not very expensive Indian food. They cater to all tastes, North/South and fusion Indian food. Loved the Sizzlers, with a variety to choose from. Gets very busy, so book in advance if you don't want to be disappointed.
Great place great service great indo Chinese food will sure get back whenever I crave for indo Chinese. One downside is a little bit pricey
I will give a 0 if it was possible. The service was absolutely pathetic and to top it up, the attitude was even worse. Massive delays in delivering the food, brought wrong food and except an odd item, the food was below average. We got there approx 2 hours before closing time, they took more than 45 minutes in bringing the starters, the rest of the food was slow too and then they suddenly strated pushing for any additional items to be added 30 minutes before closing as they had to close the kitchen and it did not matter that the service was extremely slow. Care factor towards customers was non existent.
Not recommended at all. Will not be going back.
First and last visit ever. Truly speaking.the worst service I have ever dealt with. Waited for normal tap water bottle for almost 40 mins. Asked them twice but they just ignore you. From almost every table someone was going back to the counter asking for water, cutlery, plates. No professionalism in customer service at all and so arrogant staff. Dont visit unless you want to get humiliated.
Talking about food, more then half of their menu is not available. We ordered normal masala dosa. It looked great but when we tasted the stuffing of the dosa it tastes like you are eating boiled potatoes with turmeric. Ordered the veg thali, rice was staled and half cooked. Only thing that was great in taste was fries that we ordered for kids.
I went there on the ocassion of Diwali. I went 40 minutes before their closing time around 9: 20 and still was asked to leave that they can't dine in. That's so unprofessional as it was not that much busy. I was expecting a better treatment for a customer, as I work in customer service and in all other restaurants also, no one ask you to leave if you reach before 40 mins of closing time. Would not recommend at all.
We went to this restaurant first time, but very disappointed by their service. Very unprofessional, and waiting long time in between meal service, got curry but naan bread came after 20mins. I wouldn’t recommend to go there anymore.
We used to come here a lot, but not after today when this is the first time we had a discussion with the owner about our order which they messed up in the kitchen. He was so rude and arrogant even after knowing they messed up our order. It doesn't take anything to say Sorry when you know you are wrong, but instead of feeling sorry, he was saying "Our one chef is on a day off today so it happens".
Man you may get arrogant because your business is running well right now, but I never saw anyone growing with this attitude. There are so many reviews about professionalism and still no improvement, it shows your arrogance. If you improve your attitude some day, then reply to this and you will get your regular customer back otherwise you have already lost us.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
Poor customer service, we waited nearly 40mins; owner is too rude don’t know how to operate the business. He doesn’t know how to apologise with the customer.
We ordered starters and dinner at same time so that it saved time to get dinner, of course we assume that starters would be served first followed by Dinner. But our starters didn’t serve but they already brought the dinner. Cold curries and Breads, it was totally unexpected before starter we were getting mains, not recommended
Also they charged us with the Starters that we never had, when we asked about docket then they checked and said by mistake we added
Really disappointed by all means
I have had couple of experiences. First time we got there in search of authentic south Indian food as it's name suggests so. But unfortunately, the Dosa was cooked by a Punjabi in a typically north Indian style. That day, we liked the Chana Bhatura.
Because we found out that the cooks are from north India not from south India and due to having good experience of Chana Bhatura, we thought of trying their Hakka Noodles one day. As the owner suggested that one won't be enough as a main course, we ordered two. But, I swear to God, I have never eaten such terrible tasting noodles ever in my life before. To be precise, the noodles were just simple Chowmin not a hakka noodle at all. In fact, a simple chowmin you might find in a very backward village of India would taste a little better than this I guess. But, yeah I could relate this chowmin with I might have tasted in a Punjabi village's poor wedding made by a local Halwai. There was so much ginger in noodles, that you would feel bitterness. Heaps of tomato sauce as well.
But, good part was that when I requested owner to change it with something else with an excuse that despite he suggested us that one would not be enough as main course, for us this much quantity is more than enough and our second box will be wasted. After a couple of requests he agreed to change it with Paw Bhaji. And thank God Paw Bhaji was at least eatable because the extra ginger poured into the bhaji was fully cooked at least.
Bottom line - Only stick to Punjabi Authentic Food like chana bhatura, daal etc.if you go there and don't get misled by the name Dosa Club.
Very bad customer service as i was permanent customer i used to go to mawson lakes store as well.customer service is really bad.young girl on front is having attitude problem.she dont greet at all and its been second time she dont gave main course plates and cultery as well.we just let it go last time but today it was horrible.but there is no doubt food was delicious.i suggested this place to few of my friends as well but not going to do it anymore.
This place has such amazing food, i felt like i was back in India. Perfectly spicy food for an Indian palate. Each and every item we ordered was so well prepared, i couldn't have been happier.
Change your restaurant name to dosa "late" club. 45mins to get a gravy. This is not the 1st time. 1st time was even worse made us sit without heater on next to the malfunction door with cold breeze. Both kids got sick next day, no wonder.
No apology, no remorse for making us wait for 45 mins for for simple gravy, When said this will be the last time you will see us. Solid response was -ur choice.
Good gesture. You will go places.
Not recommended at all, took way too long to cook and made us wait for 1 hour. Uncooked naans and curries, worst customer service, only went there as limited vegan Indian options in Adelaide again one of the worst customer service and uncooked meals don’t go there
