Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park reviews
62Really scenic part of the world. On a good day you can see Kangaroo Island in the distance. Very popular with most of the national park campsites booked out for the weekend.
We watched the sun set over ethel wreck Beach. Sadly not much left of wreck. Good exercise - 136 steps to the beach. Great coastline.
Awesome place to spend whole day with different types of beaches & picturesque views all around
If just driving and stoping to look only need most of a day if you are going to walk the trails and go down to all the beaches it will take at least 2 days.
Beautiful National Park at the end of the Yorke Peninsula a very much needed and well preserved area in contrast with the extensive agricultural ecological wastelands of the rest of the peninsula it is worth the drive you won’t be disappointed. The pictures are of a mob of Great Eastern Kangaroos hiding among the costal vegetation at sunset.
Have been here countless of times but never have I gotten tired of its beauty! Rain or shine it is a wonderful place - this is where my fiance proposed to me as well, at the Cape Spencer Lighthouse which is our favourite spot!
Stunning views, beaches and rock pools. We did a day visit and were selective about the 3 spots we wanted to visit, previous experience told us that there is too much to see in one day. We saw emus at Shell Beach.
Shell Beach rock pool was excellent; best accessed with reef shoes and is a good depth for jumping in and snorkelling when there are fewer people around.
A quick dip and photo opportunity at the blue Inneston Lake; so salty you can float and read a book at the same time!
Take plenty of water and food; very limited facilities in the park itself.
What an amazing place. Nature and bay. Lovely beaches. Need more public toilets, but good camp sites. Carry food and water, nothing available inside.
Great national Park at the bottom of Yorke Peninsula. Always plenty of wildlife and amazing beaches to meet everyones needs, surfing, fishing, swimming, photography it's got it all covered. If you are on the bottom half of the peninsula, give it a look you won't be disappointed. For the dog owners please note this is a national Park and dogs are not allowed. Enjoy people's.
Having been a number of times during January, this was our first Spring visit. We stayed at the very southern end of Marion Bay and enjoyed several hikes through that section of the park, as well as a ride. Stunning to say the least. Easy walking and easy to lose track of time, not that that's a bad thing. Several mountain bikers past us, so plenty to see and do.
I look to nature because I think the animals are smarter than we are. Animals mate; humans date. There's no dating in the animal kingdom. No dinner, no movie - just a quick sniff, 'Alright, let's go. '
Beautiful secluded beaches with plenty of wildlife to see. All plants were in full blown in spring was a beautiful sight
So much nature to see here. Stunning landscapes, views lookouts. I stopped at the visitor centre for guidance and some information, which gave me a clear idea where to start my journey. There is a small fee to enter the park per vehicle. Peaceful drive and you will definitely see wildlife so be extra careful not to disturb them. Absolutely spectacular coastline. I loved this place and would like to stay couple of days around the park next time. A must see in my opinion.
Lovely Park. Stenhouse in the middle of winter was just lovely. The nice weather continues right to western Cape.
Such an amazing experience! Stunning views and beaches, organised camping with numbered spots and online booking.
What a wonderful place to visit. Head down to Shell Bay and swil.in the rock pool. Hot day, freezing water. So cool
My school mate died at this place while rockfishing.he drowned and was found on sunday morning: WARNING: This place is extremely dangerous for rockfishing.
Stunning park and so much to explore. Mix of carpeted and gravel roads. $11 fee for 1day car entry. Great trek to beaches and lighthouses.
Absolutely stunning coastline. Stop at the visitor centre for a map at the start that points out all the places to stop. However, the drive is well-signed for all of the points of interest to stop along the way, including lookouts with magnificent cliff views, walks, historical points of interest and swimming beaches. There are also a number of toilets located at campsites along the way.
Amazing national park well worth a visit and explore. Easy access for any type of car with mostly sealed roads, or well maintained dirt roads.
There is plenty to see and do; checking out all of the local beaches, doing the short hikes through the area, exploring Inneston, and many more things besides.
The camp sites are somewhat small, so keep this in mind if you have a large group. Some also lack any meaningful shade with low lying shrub-land on the coast so take shade and sunscreen!
