Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park reviews
62Its a national park if u dont enjoy australias natural beauty then your crazy. It would be nice if people stuck to the speed limit, not everyone is in a hurry and just wanna take in the views.
Amazing! I have no words to describe how beautiful this place is. The coffee van was a fantastic touch.
Amazing place to relax with nature and wildlife. Beautiful fresh air and scenery I will miss.
Formerly a gypsum mining area, the ghost town of Inneston is well presented. We stayed in a 100 y.o. Limestone house which had formerly been the Engineer's Lodge, a large home sleeping 10 and providing lots of space for family meals, games, fire pit, verandas.
The only electrical appliances provided are a kettle and a toaster, but every other kitchen need was well catered for.
You need to bring your own bedding & linen, with the exception of tea towels.
The national park is beautifully covered with dense low shrubbery and provides beaches, hikes, fishing. No 4WDing permitted.
I visited in June, and although the weather was wintery, there were plenty of wildflowers out.
Please drive slowly, there are so many roos, wallabies and emus on and near the roads.
A beautiful, pristine national park with lovely hiking and fishing Will definitely return again
Dont bother! Littered with govt leftovers. Too many cant do that! Patroled by a little man in a uniform. First nation name and yet zero in the population. Plenty of other free places to go in the area
It's beautiful place for camping and fishing but there is no water tank at Gym Beach make sure bring your water cheers.
So beautiful! Each time we go we fond somewhere new. We'll maintained roads and facilities. We've never been lucky enough to see any wildlife apart from some birds
Drove through the Park. Beautiful scenery. Staying at Seaside apartments Marion Bay. Beautiful.
Have taken quite a few trips to the Yorke Peninsula but had not once gone down right to the park! Wish I had done it sooner! Beautiful and absolutely stunning place to be
The park has so many amazing places to explore;
one day is definitely not enough. Will be going back to visit and take time to explore this little beauty of South Australia
Beautiful park with sweeping ocean views, shipwrecks and lighthouses. Great walks for all levels. Innes historic gypsum mine and village a must do. The diversity of flora was outstanding with much of it in flower.
Such a beautiful place. Lots of wonderful lookout, animals and great site to stay. The water is clear and so blue. One of my favorite NP in Australia.
And thanks to the people that keep it clean and tidy ️
Absolutely stunning national park. Lots of beautiful beaches, shipwrecks, and gorgeous wildlife.
Absolutely amazing landscape, plenty of walks with interpretation signage and history, animals and fauna to see, lots of hidden beauty, shipwrecks along the coast, Ethel wreck is amazing and has a cave on the same beach! Check out pondalowie bay for a washed up fishing boat! Cape Spencer cliffs and lighthouse, the food at the tavern is to die for! Absolute photography dream all around! Check out the Innes historical Township area for the broken down buildings and farm machines again with historical signage. You can pay before you get there online and if you need to charge your phone etc you can use the visitors centre!
Drove randomly to this park while staying in Adelaide CBD. Was in SA for the first time and just went there and didn’t regret it at all. This place is very lovely and has so many spots to visit and the only thing I didn’t do right was manage my time as you need at least a whole day to visit it all. 10$ is the entry ticket per car and you have so many points in the park. You just will be mesmerised by the beauty of it! Photos don’t do justice to this place!
Stunning views, beaches, cliffs and rock pools. Lots of camping spots and only a short drive from Adelaide. Definitely worth the visit.
Beautiful place to stay. Good size sites. Nearly 5 stars from me, however the drop toilets weren't kept clean and appeared to not have been cleaned at all for the three days stayed.
Dolphin Beach was the best stop. Shell Beach rock pools were not safe during high tide, such a bummer.
A fantastic day trip, lots of wildlife to see, great walks and stunning beaches. Take you lunch and drinks. No food available.
Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, now where do I begin? This place is a must visit attraction if you visiting South Australia, the whole national park has breath-taking scenery both ocean views and inland views. The National Park has rich history which you will learn from the many history signs at each location.
Drones are unfortunately not allowed within the park itself and you would need to pay for an entry fee to the park which I paid happily to further support the development of the National Park.
Every site had a whole new experience with places to park your car and many walking tracks which would take you days to complete everything this National Park had to offer.
There were many wildlife along the way so do take care if you are driving and make sure you bring sunscreen as going for a swim is a must.
Thank you Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park for a memorable visit.
Follow and join me on my next adventure!
