Professional & courteous staff. So easy to make appointments & not have to wait around for 3+ hours like domain medical centre. Worlds apart!

I wish I can add a zero star to this review. Even after taking a prior appointment- you must have to wait for at least 30 to 45 min. If you are lucky you might have to wait may be for an hour - very very unprofessional in term of time management-
PS -I am writing this after more than 6 time waited for more than avg 45min on each visit-
Today- it’s around an hour wait. Sad

Really unprofessional. Advised to wait in the car and call reception. They are not even attending the call. Eventhough i have booked the first appointment at 9am, no one responding for first 30 minutes. If you cant manage an institution don't open it. Do something else.

Why cant the designated doctor could call the patient who is waiting in the car? Today we had to wait 40 minutes to get through to reception to check whats happening.
You have the infrastructure and parking facilities, it should be better managed. The people who is waiting outside is having several ailments and may have other commitments.
I hope you understand and take necessary steps to have this situation better managed in future.

Look…. The waiting time is fairly close to ED. If your cherish your time then it’s probably not a good idea to visit this site. If you have an appointment and have time to spare, bring your sleeping bag.

I know the response may be COVID related. However, why can’t your receptionists inform people the estimated waiting time!? Or put some estimated waiting time on the TV in the clinic. In that way, we won’t waste each others time.

Waited for an hour to see a doctor?

I have recently found a wonderful Dr & Medical Centre when my recent need arose. The process on arranging an appointment was made easy, the process on how to attend, was also explained & it was with great care to ensure a safe environment was maintained throughout for all staff & patients. The Dr I saw was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and clearly explained what I needed to know & took the time to listen & assist greatly. So grateful to know I can rely on them, when the need arises.

I have been going to Darlington Medical Centre since it opened and absolutely love it! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the whole building is extremely clean and quite relaxing to wait in. They’re always running as close to on time as possible. Really glad I moved to this clinic for my appointments and will continue to go here:)

Reception staff are wonderful, always so welcoming, friendly and helpful… whether in person or via phone. Dr Surangi and Dr Indika are such supportive, attentive and caring people; they’re very conscientious Doctors. The Nurses are also lovely, including the kind Clinpath lady. Thanks team for all your hard work and efforts each day, it’s appreciated. Each of you make a difference to helping people feel valued, thank you again.

We saw Dr. Silva last weekend for our little one who had been sick with a cough, wheezing and later a high fever for 8 weeks. After seeing a handful of other doctors at other surgeries (including the hospital) we felt we were finally listened to properly. Less than a week later and we have a little boy back to his happy self. So grateful

I've been apprehensive about a new doctor for years. After not being taken seriously, not really heard and misdiagnosed I had lost all faith.
I saw Darlington Medical being built and knew it would be good to get my name on the books just in case I ever needed a doctor. Well as fate would have it, my first appointment was with the brilliant Dr Indika. I felt heard, taken seriously and cared for. He has since become my permanent doctor and absolutely goes above and beyond. A truly amazing doctor.

So impressed with this medical centre! We went here for our baby’s 6 week appointment & really happy to have found our new doctor. Doctors are so caring & professional. Centre is new & clean.

Brilliant. This practice runs on time, is professionally managed and doctors show genuine care and empathy towards clients. Highly recommend.

I have been attending since it opened.very friendly staff and always happy to accommodate. Dr indika explains and provides a holistic approach.glad they have opened in Darlington.

Waited almost an hour. Even though no Covid symptoms told to wait in car. No satisfactory diagnosis. Very disappointing

Been coming since they opened welcoming and friendly reception staff, place is very clean, modern and all doctor's are professionals would recommend to anyone.

I'm so glad to have visited this medical centre to receive my vaccination and get my screening form ticked off by Dr. Indika. He answered my questions thoroughly, listened to my concerns and was very patient.

Contrary to the 1star comment, as a healthcare worker, I have nothing but admirable comments about my experience as a patient today.
Jules the medical receptionist was nothing but personable and professional. She was kind and caring and went out of her way to chase results from another institution for me, given it was a Sunday afternoon.
Dr Silva was articulate, time efficient and thorough.

I have been a couple of times to this facility. All i can say is the staff are lovely, receptionist very friendly and happy to answer any questions you have. The doctor that i have seen is the most caring, professional doctor i have seen. Truly cares about his patients. Only great experiences from this medical centre. I will continue to go, they truly pride themselves on being professional.

Not good. There was no patient at all in the evening but the Doctor late for half hour. The doctor didn't wash his hands before the injection for my children, and didn't tell us what may happen after the injection, and didn't ask to observe for 10 minutes.not recommended to go there especially for children

Can I make a suggestion. If you have online appointments that are available on the day, but the Dr is running late, maybe take them offline. Looked and booked an appt online at 9: 10am for a 9: 36am appointment for my 6 year old son. It’s now 9: 58am and we still have not seen the GP. Similar booking experience for myself a couple of days ago.
