Curtis Wetlands reviews
35Great place work Playground ducks and geese. Just needs a toddler platform which is fenced in. But I have not found one in the entire area yet
The Curtis Wetlands are a wonderful place to go for a walk or take the kids to play!
There is a wonderful trail around the ponds that is complete with bridges to cross over the water in several places and watch the ducks swim and dive! This walk is lovely during the day and just stunning around sunset for you and a loved one to take, weather they have 2 feet or 4.
The playground is also fully equipped for all kinds of play and gatherings! It has a few shaded seating areas as well as an open grassed area for playing sports for the older kids, whilst offering an adventure playground and miniature bike path (it’s around 3 bushes and to the side) for the younger kids to use. The play equipment is also rather new and well maintained.
It is a great place to take the kids for a play, picnic or bbq. Clean. I wish the people that fed the birds white bread didn't leave them the plastic bag as well. I couldn't get the bag out. Glad to say the smart birds left the bread too!
Would not recomend this place food left on BBQ and BBQ was dirty and disgusting we didn't use them went home a bought our own back
Pretty chill place for a walk with the dog or kids feed the ducks or let the littlies have a go on the playground. Barbecue areas with shelter and picnic tables with toilets close by.
Love this place. Lovely quiet walks around the wetlands. Plenty of bird life including ducks which your not suppose to feed but I do lol. I feed them peas sweetcorn and plenty of oats.
Playground was adventurous, but the rest was a let down with all the under construction tape everywhere.
It's a lovely little park, love the ducks there are so many different types also my son is 3 and he absolutely loved it, its great having the opertunity to walk right around the hole lake, just a lovely family area to take your kids,
A great little park with wetlands, playgrounds, open gassed areas, walking trails, picnic and BBQ facilities.
Such a great little find, just what the area needed.
The wildlife here is amazing.
Great park for kids they love it.
Only concern for me is playground is not fenced and is situated on a busy road
It is a grate place to go for a walk im a pokemon go player and there is 5 pokey stops and 2 gyms
Beautiful area. Nice playground for the kids, toilet block, picnic tables with bbq. Ducks and assorted birds in the lake.
Love walking my dog here. There is always bird life in the bushes & wetlands. Great park for the kids, bbqs & tables & chairs. Great little place for a walk or some family time.
Great for breeding carp and mosquitoes. Another brilliant idea from the Dictatorship of Playford. Nice park with power lines running above. At least they finally put toilets in.only took several years.
Really enjoyed it theres a really really good area for kids to play on & we loved tha walk around the wetlands.well done!
