Curtis Wetlands reviews
35Beautiful wetlands, I took my toddler here to play on the equipment and see the ducks and we went on an impromptu little nature walk. Giving it three stars because there were a number of substance-affected adults lounging on the equipment when we got there who were behaving a little erratically. It made us feel a little unsafe (my little one was holding my pants fairly tightly as they walked by us to leave). They left soon after we arrived, which is good because otherwise we would have left.
Great little park to take the kiddies and feed the ducks, awesome peaceful walking trails, toilets, BBQ, playground (with good equipment) really recommend
Duck pond is awesome and quite a nice place to sit and have your lunch.
PS toilets available.
Good little area, has toilets, BBQ, shelter, track to walk around the wetlands, has some car parks not sure how many tho
The council do an outstanding job at the up keep of this place. Take time to sit and relax at the wetlands. You won't regret it
Nice little park great for walking, always ducks and a few resident geese, fun playground for kids, nice little walking trail, beautiful addition to the neighbourhood
Good mix of wetlands, playground and place to eat. Equipment has something for both bigs & littles, barbecues for cooking, big green lawn, toilets, ducks to feed and public transport nearby if needed.
Nice little playground. Good for younger kiddos, great little pond where you can see all the ducks.
This place is so well set up it's all for the family experience. It could be more if fishing is allowed like catch & release
Relaxing spot has BBQs, plenty of seating, pub toilets, decent sized lawn, street parking, play equipment.
Would be much better if the playground had a shade cloth and a fence around. It's so close to road and in a matter of seconds could turn into an absolute disaster. Don't understand why they built it so close to a road and no shade cloth hmm.
Grass areas, kids playground, shelters and BBQ area. Bike and walking tracks around the lake complete with ducks and other birds. Just beautiful.:)
It is a grate place to go for a walk im a pokemon go player and there is 7 pokey stops and 3 gyms
Good place to walk your dog, talk a stroll or even just to have a nice day at the park! There's a little oval and some BBQs, a playground and a few little bridges here and there, nice little area
Great little public space, the council have set up a nice grassed area with a couple free BBQ right next to the wetland. Great for a family event or just a quiet walk around the lake. Good to see places like this exist whilst everyone is so busy we have somewhere just to unwind and relax
Nice walk easy to go around wetlands ponds with ducks and other birds make for a pleasant cenic walk
Awesome park. Located on Douglas Drive near Curtis Road, Munno Para near Smithfield Plains.parking is a bit of a problem
Lovely grassed park
Family orientated
Toilet facilitates
Well maintained by council
Lovely lake area with ducks
I like this place but I think it still needs some work to make it a little more accessible as once you cross the bridge there's only a dirt track. It would be nice to see a footpath around the remainder of the lake. However I did hear a roomer this could be undertaken next year sometime Otherwise a really nice setting.
