Crown & Anchor Hotel reviews
43Good selection of beers, nice place for a cold one with friends. Could do with a more extensive wine list though.
One of the oldest and most popular pubs in the CBD. Alongside the Austral, one of my favourites. Old school vibe, great variety of musical acts, relatively cheap in comparison to other places (Especially on Wednesday night). Would recommend.
It's a historic dive but charming in its own right. A good place for a casual drink or four, or to catch local musical acts.
One of the greatest places Adelaide has to offer. Everything from the drinks, the crowd, the live music! The Cranker has it all
The cranka is the mecca for Adelaide's music scene! Still one of my favourite music venues/drinking destinations in the CBD. So much energy and good vibes here, visit on a Wednesday night for cheap tap beers and great music.
Very good prices and a real 60s old record bar feel to the place. Must have a meal here. They have Coopers XPA on tap too!
Dive bar perfection. Easy going, fantastic range of beer. Pool, who doesnt like pool?
Best for fans of heavier music.
Bartenders here are legends, cannot stress that enough.
Always a great place to catch some great music, especially on Wednesday! (Cheap $3 beers!) Bar staff are friendly and helpful, and don't mind to have a good laugh.
Coming from America. Very disappointed at this particular bartender tonight as I witnessed customers being verbally threatened to be kick out and not serve them drinks when those poor people did nothing wrong at all. That bartender seriously need a lot of customer service training as she is ruining the image of your pub.
Trendy old school dive bar that pops. I actively seek out comedy in new towns and the Wednesday night stand up is the best amateur event I've seen to date!
This such a cool little pub with an traditional feel. If you want a hip places to chill with your friends I highly recommend this place. If it’s a big night then this is a great first stop, if they have a show on you probably won’t end up leaving.
Nice pub with a great atmosphere good variety of drinks and pool tables live music darts for a great range of entertainment while your there staff are great as well
Favorite place in the city. Had the best nights there. Good rock music, payable drinks and a lot of fun playing pool aginst my friends.
Don't think this place has changed since I hung out there as a kid.which is the best thing about it.
A safe haven for the freaks & geeks. Live music. Pool tables. No pokies. Go there and smoke some beers. Chat to the locals. Let ya mohawk down and have some fun
Ever consistent city pub, compact tap list, mostly Cooper's, but good diverse range of other taps. Something for everyone and no more or less expensive than it's rivals in the Exeter and Austral hotels.
Awesome place for a local gig and excellent bar service. Attracts all kinds of customers and I really like that about a place, major props for the pasta restaurant upstairs too! Had the best lemon lime butters I’ve ever had here:)
True great aussie flavored pub.big style of music, beer and food.a must have experience while visiting adelaide.
Great comedy Tuesday nights with Cranker Comedy show. Various comedians. Loved the Ned Kelly pie story. Happy hour from 9-12pm. Check it out.
