Crafter Medical Centre reviews
44An excellent practice that has given our whole family consistently high levels of care for many years. Highly recommended.
Admin staff the served me, had her mask on under her nose that made me uncomfortable that in a medical clinic she wasn't doing that properly
Professional, friendly, relaxed, orderly, caring service with plenty of smiles. Tiny jab. Could not ask for better.
My medical clinic for 30 years and doctors stay there for a long time so consistent high quality service. Excellent GP practice and can usually get in to see my doctor within 4 or 5 days. Alternatively can see another doctor there with shorter wait. Highly recommend.
I have been attending this clinic for many years. Medical examinations are always thorough, reception staff curteous.
I found the admission and administration of the vaccine quick and efficient. I haven't had any reaction since. Thanks to the staff. I am not afraid of receiving my second one, when it is time.
Had my appointment with the clinics nurse. Great experience with the nurse as well as my loooong time with my doctor Kerry Vlahos. Always there with professional & caring advice.
Thank you so very much.
.
All the doctors I have seen here love working here, and also they give great medical advice, after listening to the patient.
All the Doctors & other staff are great at Crafter Medical Centre. I have been a patient there fir many years and I find they are always there fir me.
The COVID vaccination is extremely well handled. Professional, efficient and friendly throughout.
Extremely Professional office staff.
Excellent, amazing, caring doctors. Covid safe environment. I recommend Crafter's Medical Centre anyday.
I am a long time patient of this practice where I have always received outstanding and sympathetic medical and nursing care. I could nort recommend them more highly. Top marks!
I've been a Crafter M. C.patient continuously since the 1970s and have had outstanding G. P.s over all that time. They have taken exceptional care of me and I feel very priveliged.
I live at Ingle Farm, I travel all the way to Crafter Medical Centre for the last 18 years. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The doctors really care for their patients. I want to thank especially Dr. Kilmartin, for the care and help she has given me, all these years.
Professional.patient-oriented staff and atmosphere, excellent medical and nursing staff, helpful reception staff. Have coped admirably with the difficulties of the Covid-situation. On-line and email communications have been very helpful.
Had first Covid jab today. Appointment was on time and faultlessly provided by very friendly, competent doctor and support staff. They also organised appointments for 2nd jab and flu shot
I have my own doctor who I feel very comfortable with, but have also seen lots of the other doctors in the practice snd they’ve all been great. A really nice family practice!
Very professional, well managed and friendly service.
Generally running on time. Reception is friendly and helpful. Well supported by external specialists. GP’s are very personable, approachable and knowledgeable.
If you want to get your medical records from here, you don't even get a letter from them until 5 weeks after they have received the request from another clinic asking you to pay $15 for courier of the medical records, but as they wait so long to act on your request if your have appointments already booked in ahead of time, they end up having to fax them to the requesting clinic instead, not send them by courier or registered post as the new federal policies require, but still charge you $15 despite the letter saying that the fee is to cover courier costs.
(not sure how they think it's ok to charge that when not using a courier and facing instead. If you want to add processing fees to copy the 8 pages of notes then they should make it clear, and have a separate price for when couriers are not being used)
Also family member went to the Dr here - blood pressure was 250/180 (very high) said had been getting palpitations and headaches and the Dr just gave a script for some medication to lower it and a blood test to do before next visit. No ecg or anything. 2 other Dr's that have seen this family member since, who has always had LOW blood pressure their whole life have said that they should have been sent to emergency department to be put on cardiac monitoring for at least a few hours, to get blood and urine tests done straight away to see what was happening, and no way should the next appointment have been several weeks (3 from memory later). Even when medication doses were continued to be increased without stabilising the blood pressure over a few month at no point did this Dr consider referral to.a specialist to see why the sudden change in chronic long term LOW blood pressure, to dangerously and insanely high blood pressure with other symptoms like palpitations continuing, even waking them up at night.
(Posting review on behalf of family member I supported to deal with this).
Think twice when you go to this medical center, Doctor has missed my 12-14 weeks scan to check NB. Then the midwife asked for the NB result in week 14 at the first appointment, which I don't have. The medical center should have trained the regulations regularly.and I believe the doctor, and other staff will have the same standard for treating patients after all the efforts.
